Actually they may have made the card better, before you would need 3 consecutive turns of playing elementals for that 4 damage, which can be disrupted, now you just need to play one the previous turn
You needed it to scale, so it’s not better, at all they nerfed the utility without compensating at all. The 4 cost is hardly worth it now compared to other cards.
They basically nerfed the late game implications to the ground without making it viable early game.
It was actually fun game play to balance your game while keeping elementals up.
Lamplighter needed to be changed because it was based on an effect which is almoast unbreakable since there are too many ways to get 1 mana cost elementals. And it still have enough power. That card was just fixed at 4 dmg now… for 4 mana a 4/4 , 4 dmg minion with no condition is still pretty good and can be a problem. They should have changed it to let hit minions only… like they did with a few drink spells now…
