Lakkari Sacrifice card is a joke

Discard warlock is a very fast deck but legendary quest Lakkari Sacrifice making it slow…like very slow
i will explain

Lakkari Sacrifice - 1 mana spell

there Flame Imp,Machelzarr’s Imp that are needed to be put down asap which makes quest unplayable at turn 1 bcz you need to be very fast

After quest is completed you get a 5 mana spell which opens a portal which summons 3/2 Imps
Explanation: Since its a fast deck and cannot compete against control and midrange decks after 7 mana
this spell is just 5 mana plain 6/4 worth minions
which is absolutely worst…in my opinion(and hopefully every1 agrees)a plain 5 mana 6/4 is a trash card for being a legendary quality

it needs a buff please reduce its cost to 3 or 4 OR you can reduce quest’s cost to 0

Most quest were bad . Look at paladin both quests .

yea galvadon is laughable quest you just need a removal card if its not stealthed lol

it’s not THAT laughable… it gets 5 opportunities to roll stealth, or untargetable by spells and hero powers… and it usually can get to be 10+ power and windfury if that’s what you need…

You are playing the quest in the wrong deck. Discard lock is a very aggressive and fast deck, it doesn’t need the quest to win.
If you want to play the quest, you should make a control/high value lock, with spells like cataclysm and minions like jeklik and the other with discard synergy (like the one who revive a discarded minion, or the one who gives you 3 discarded card).

i agree with your comment but not being able to play discard quest in discard warlock is astonishing

Lakkari Sacrafice can be played in a different type of discardlock.
A more control version.

Two 2/3 bodies every turn, for zero mana, is insane value, and puts constant pressure on your opponent. It is much harder to make a good discard oriented late game deck. The risk of losing key cards is simply too high. But if it does work, if you do manage to get the quest while still at sufficient health and with sufficient cards left, then the rest of the game will be very hard for your opponent.

Note I’m not saying Lakkari Sacrifice is a good card. The design is neat but it suffered too much from being too slow for aggro discard, and control discard not being reliable enough, so it will forever be more a meme deck than a serious deck.

it eats 1 of your minions board space and demon res pool
maybe it can work better in control deck but its hard for me to see it
i wish it was more than a meme card

5 Mana - one time
6/4 worth - every turn
12/8
18/12
24/16
etc

while discard was always the dumbest idea ever to me, a lot of opponents are pretty lucky/annoying with it.
i really wanted this gold, was about to craft,
got 75% off wild bundle, opened it golden… (whats the chances of that, never)
and yea its horrible, you have to play against the right noob for a fair game. The reward should be instant, like the new quests.
you forgot to calculate:
you have to discard a WHOPPING 6 useful cards.
and you end up with 1 +2 wasted spots on board for good minions/ DK resummoning

once you put in High Priestess Jek’lik, Clutchmother Zavas, 2xSilverware golem, 1 or 2 hand of gul’dan, maybe some soulwardens or cruel dinomancers, 2x fist of jaraxxus, it becomes less painful to discard.

DK Gul’dan in Discard? I always considerd it way to risky bec of discard.
And bec of the imps

A lot of the problem with aggro quests is they insisted on making them 1 mana with no cycle. If they were 0 or played themselves automatically when in hand that’d be great, but dicsolock actually is a very good archetype right now. I guess there’s never be a way to beat quest mage otking t6 and they’re getting a 1 mana 1/2 discover a spell card that will only help them more. So you run warlock and try to kill them t5 instead. But then mage can also otk the Warlock and still has ice block so idk. Should mage really have both a consistent start in hand t6 otk card and ice block? One should really ought to go, but there’s no turn after 6 if you’re fighting a high ranked quest mage. I don’t even know if they have a counter. Control gets otked, other combos can’t combo, aggro still faces ice block and everyone gets 0 mana 32/32 giants with ice block Reno or just dropping either alexstaza ever once and you’re dead. There’s really not a lot of counterplay or tech against them.

i believe i took it out, but wanted it back, the hero power would be worth it
goes to show how bad deck was.
