The board size is too restrictive for him as a card to be utilized same with basically all death rattle cards you just run out of board space before you can get your combo’s off
IDEA: program a spot on the side of the board where you can place combo cards and still get their effects but they arent on the board cards like khadgar bran bronzebeard baron rivendare and mamabear would benefit from this

The more effective use in my experience is actually in the Tavern phase with a bunch of token summon effects. With cards like Alleycat or Tidecaller, you can get golden copies of the token cards they summon and grab a minion from the next tier. It’s super duper niche and will rarely ever come into play, but on those huge murloc swing turns around tier 5 you can pull off some silly things.
I mean he’s usually useless, but when he is good he’s quite good. Getting an extra Robosaur off Mechano Egg is solid when it works out.
I think it’s okay to have situational units in Battlegrounds.
