Hello. Recently a new mage portrait has been added - Kael’thas.
Seeing that it lacks the design of the playing field and animation, I was very surprised. How did it happen that such a character of the Warcraft series was left deprived? Hope the developers fix this.

I remember that the previous festival of fire sold ragnaros (with very good animations) with another uther, rexxar and a card back for less price (20 dollars), the blunde is less attractive without animations and more price,I hope they do the animations

I’m confused. The website says: “The Flameshot Sylvanas and Fire Glaive Liadrin hero skins each include an animated portrait and new voicelines for base emotes. The Kael’thas Sunstrider hero skin includes an animated portrait and all new voicelines.” They’re clearly indicating a discrepancy, but they seem to say the same thing. Unless theres a difference between “voicelines” and “voicelines for base emotes”, but that would read to me as Kael’thas might have additional lines beyond just the base emotes.
If you bought the hero, can you identify what’s missing?
What is missing from this hero:
- Animation of the portrait of the beginning of the match.
- Playing field frame.
- Hero power animation.
Everything that is present in other heroes of the class (Khadgar, Kel’Thuzad, Prestor, Azshara, Celeste).
By the way, if Celeste had not had this, I would have understood.

Before buying anything in HS, check on youtube the item review.
This isn’t the first time a portrait lacks basic features and it probably won’t be the last.
Maybe they will do like in the past and they will upgrade that hero, but it required months if I remember correctly (uther headless something, I think)
I do so. But I don’t understand what the developers were guided by when releasing such a portrait of the hero. Where is the logic? 
Hope this gets fixed.

That sounds like the website description is very wrong, then, possibly falling into the category of “false advertising” levels of wrong (ie, illegally misrepresented).
I have two favorite characters in Warcraft. Medivh and Kael’thas. The portrait of Medivh, imho, is magnificent (although this is a very old portrait). Crows, fiery eyes and magic everywhere!
For complete happiness, only Kael’thas was missing. He is finally in the store and he is amazing! Perfect voicelines, Al’ar, green orbs!
But where are the animations? Such a cool portrait without animations is like a cocktail without an umbrella. Excuse me, Blizz, I would like an umbrella, please! I need this impossible choice between two great portraits!
