I know there was an issue with this card combo when the expansion dropped and they banned it after a few days. Did they quietly reneg? The new libram deck is overpowered enough without this silliness. Might be time to start fusing all turns vs pallies again until we reach some semblance of balance. I’m multi-legend and I’ve got all day
Good luck finding balance in Wild. They are out of their league in Standard. Bans of cards is the best you’ll get if you’re lucky.
before turn 5 ?
that was the issue
how did they manage to do it ?
You should stop giving your opinion on topics that you don’t know what you’re talking about, wild has always been more balanced and fun, but a problematic deck is always left on purpose so that people prefer standard, however in wild we don’t expect a balance patch to arrive , we adapt our decks and that’s the fun of the format…
With polket, or maybe overplanner, in combination with the cost 1 legendary weapon…but istill very complicated to be a real issue…
As if in Standard they don’t adapt their deck if the game is broken.
The game is broken in Standard by the way always.
E.g. Reno was OP for 2 expansions in a row.
In perfect utopia he should stop giving his opinion period. Because from my point of view he doesn’t know what he’s talking about on anything, not on specific topics. But just like the smell of someone’s soiled pants we are stuck with his “infinite” wisdom on nothing.
The difference is that you do not have all the technologies that we do, not even with something as basic as loatheb, so you eat the broken interactions with potato chips…
Moving to goalposts I see. You don’t even make sense. Tech cards like that exist in Standard.
You seem to have developed narcissism against Standard,
I’m not sure you realize the best players are in Standard.
A lot of anger in this thread. I think my credentials speak for themselves.
I’ve been playing since closed beta (after the deck wipe).
I’m a multilegend and multi-lightforged arena keyholder which according to blizzard accounts for less then .25% of the entire playerbase. From June through November I’ve achieved legend as a jackpot rogue which means I’m pretty much relying on rng off rng, as opposed to everyone else whose deck is insanely synergized and they only need to worry about mulligan and draw order.
According to my stats page I have 32k ranked wins, so assuming a 50% winrate for the average player I have 64k matches’ worth of experience.
This ridiculous 100-hp hit by the pallies was banned a couple-few days into the expansion and I just got hit with it. Whether it’s a hack, a quiet reneg on the ban or just another “small indie company” blizz mistake is all I want to know.
Calm down.
Its fun because you are describing your own behavior against those who dare to post something about wild…
I didn’t call you bad players, like you did. I said the Devs are bad at balancing Wild as if it’s not true and that offended you for some reason as if you are the Devs yourself.
But since you called Standard players bad players,
you forget most players are in Standard.
As I understand It the fix was supposed to be the change to order in the court so that it did not draw a card, I guess someone has found a way around that
You know it’s not possible to hit for 100 with holy wrath right? Ceaseless Expanse’s cost goes down with every card drawn, played and destroyed, so unless it’s happening on turn 1, it’s not 100 damage, 90+ is more believable
you get hit for full cost every time, it will never be less than 100 from ceaseless
the combo is harder to pull off, but it can still be done
Used to work the same with that Shirvalla card the paladin had that had 25 mana cost. You just drew your own deck, copy Shrivalla into your deck and divine wrath with it…
But hey if this is a problem you should have seen endless turn time warp mage :)), which instead of seeing the end of the movie with you losing, you would have sit there and watch the whole franchise :))))
Lame strawman argument…
I never said that, im even a fan of some standard players, but you instead have messed flagrantly with the wild community requesting its deletion…
Talks about strawmen, then pulls the biggest strawman of all. What I said in the past has nothing to do with this thread; maybe I changed my mind after that past; you just desperatetely try to find an excuse to avoid this thread now.
In this thread you said “we at Wild are so much better at adapting”. You do nothing special since Standard adapts all the time too.
You say that as if years had passed, when it has only been weeks, but anyway, i was going to continue but vendetta has changed my mood with the laught that his message caused me…
Problaby a guild is needed to deal with you…
Anyway I was rude in the past, you may like Wild not deleted even if it’s flawed, but you misunderstood the tone of my first reply to the OP.
I was not taking shots at people playing Wild, but at Devs being bad at balancing it.
i had it happen with the celestial expanse card & the spell that draws a minion & deals damage equal to it’s cost
