People are missing the point.
This isn’t about what happened to Blitzchung but about the Chinese government enforcing censorship in the West via corporate influence.
“This is how businesses are run, you don’t understand how businesses work”
There are many other companies that have not folded to China and fans should be able to voice their displeasure when the company they supported gives up freedom and embraces censorship.

Blizzard is the one who made this about more than just games.
They could’ve glossed over this with an appropriate punishment instead of delivering a prompt and heavy handed punishment to appease the Chinese despite their current atrocities in Xinjiang and Hong Kong.
Just because you have a defeatist mentality on issues you feel are too big to take on yourself shouldn’t mean you attack those that try to have their voices heard via any platform they have to bring up these issues.
Those who rebuke others for raising the issues don’t understand that it’s exactly what Blizzard’s top brass wants.
They just want to simply move on from this issue by staying silent and letting the community tire itself out from infighting.
Boycotts work, raising awareness works, and how you spend your dollars makes a difference to corporations.
