So im currently diamond 3, on e a3 game winstreak, do I not get double stars when I win in diamond 5 and above? or is my game just bugged.
No bonus for win streak after Diamond 5.

Any rank with a win streak bonus only requires a winrate of 45.34% or higher to climb. In other words, every rank below Diamond 5 is fake.

No ranks below D5 are valid.
I guess you assumed not dropping to a rank-bottom because then they could even do it with 0.00001%, i.e. lose horribly for a ton of games at the bottom and then a single win streak.
They can go Legend that way too.
I mean 45.34% when going from 1 win above current rank floor, to the next rank floor, without touching current rank floor. If they do touch current rank floor then they start over from the beginning and do need to achieve that 45.34% segment at some point.
You can get double stars in diamond next season if you climb high enough in legend.
At the end of the season if you get 11 stars your next climb will be a lot easier in diamond.

Not sure it’s wise to not stress the importance of rank bottoms, because it makes people who play 24/7 go Legend and it’s unclear what skill they had.
Rank bottoms should be illegal.

NO player has ANY say on balance or metagame. That’s something the devs decide, not the players.
Now, the devs MIGHT listen to top players, I don’t really know. However, given the amount of complaints from people allegedly “in the know” around here, I’m curious where the lie truly is…
ARE the devs listening to us “top players?” Or, are we not as top as we think we are?
There’s actually a discord for content creators and the top players and their friends that the developers are also on. So yeah they actually do get input from those players. Beyond that the next biggest discussion area actively participated in by the developers is Reddit and then Twitter.
Well if we are just free to invalidate everything we think takes little to no skill, I claim no ranks in Hearthstone are valid, all the way to to rank 1.

EDIT: By that I mean, is this an exclusive discord channel? Or is this a place where anyone can join if given a link to it? Because while I didn’t know such a thing existed for Hearthstone, I also don’t think “having a discord” proves very much unless it’s specifically for certain people.
It’s exclusive run by the developers and you have to be invited into it. They get the heads up on upcoming changes and new content announcements. Those in the discord have actively talked about how they talk with the developers about “problem” cards. They obviously don’t get the last word on changes but they do get to discuss problems with the meta with them.
Keep in mind a bunch of the developers are ex players/content creators as well. It makes sense they all talk amongst each other.
