Fair enough. In that case, I retract my previous statements regarding player input.
They did math, but donât understand why that math was wrong.
You can have a 45% win rate not winning more than two games in a row and you wonât climb.
Nope, theyâre meaningless now. MMR is all that matters.
This is the way.
Do you have a source for that, or is a rumor you heard? I notice thereâs a creators program but itâs not for âjust playersâ; though you can get some top players by default that way; they are streamers and hence âcontent creatorsâ technically.
man i am bad, i cant even get to that rank.
Itâs the same thing. They just folded the content creator program into the Discord that already existed internally. Of course there are some top players that donât stream but a large majority of them do. Itâs enough between current top players that stream and ones that are now employees to get in on internal discussions they are having about the meta.
As i said before. I wouldnât expect them to have final say in how things change or donât change. It does however give the developers some useful feedback from players actually playing in the meta.
Blizzard doesnât need those players in a channel in order to be told how to micromanage the design of the game; the Devs are way better at that; thereâs another purpose entirely.
The main reason is Marketing; they need them there because streamers have herds of other players listening to them; they please them in order for them to please the players.
The best streamers are usually completely clueless about card design anyway; to design the cards of this game itâs better to have a Statistics degree; they are good pilots only.
