And here we can observe the depravity protected by net neutrality.
Look, who ever tells you they are top f2p NA or EU players or whatever being f2p, they are talking crap.
Well, reading between the lines here and thereâŚ
I put together a low cost premade, from the game. It performed very well.
I mean my main deck is better but this other one just works. So Iâm stuck playing an inferior deck just to be able to see any kind of action.
Thanks lazy weighted RNG.
nice try, but as a f2p you have dont have any dust.
you get from the free packs aswell as the free deck, aswell as gold for doing the simplest things. more than enough to let you get 10 packs from atleast 2 expansions which is atleast 2 legendaries you can dust in addition to the multiple legendaries from the free deck
no from packs you get ONLY cards. if you dust them you have no cards.
so no as a f2p player you DONT get enough cards to dust them away to create other cardsâŚ
thats the first thing you are doing wrong: you dont need every card, which is why you need to do research into what deck to focus on building. if you want to climb its better to have 1 strong deck finished than 5 decks half finished.
If you start with building DH for example (strong deck, isnt too expensive) then you wont need a shaman legendary, a warlock legendary, and 3 mage epics for quite a while since you wont be able to afford building all those decks initially as f2p. meaning you can disenchant those for dust, repeat for other higher rarity cards and classes that you wont be able to build and you will have enough dust to craft 2 legendaries and a few epics
a new player doesnt have a shaman/lock/whatever class lego to dust.
so no my point stands as f2p you are not going far.
you get multiple legendaries and epics from the free deck. you are guaranteed a legendary in the first 10 packs of each expansion, and you get multiple packs from different questlines aswell as a lot of gold for just playing, which is enough to get you to the guaranteed legendary in atleast 2 expansions
Just play arena u get dust pack gold and cards
OP mind is made up. You canât play if you donât pay.
For everyone else who may be reading this thread, itâs possible to just do your quests everyday and save the gold for the next expansion. I usually do that at some point when i have most rares. At least i did before this change to packs.
Pretty sure you can build a classic deck and play it in casual for the quests.
But youâre saying that the game is âmore newb friendlyâ, while youâve been playing for 5 years? What makes you come to that conclusion? As for every new player to be able to compete theyâre forced to focus on building a deck for 1 specific hero. If theyâre not getting a lot of pack luck, itâs more or less impossible for them to collect enough dust to build more then 1 deck.
Personally I think it would be good for new players to be given 20 free arena tokens and for them make it that they can get packs from all sets that wonât go out in the next rotation. That way their chances of getting the good cards from those sets that they can at least use for more then 1 year
Iâd say most quests are best to complete in Tavern Brawls, as itâs free to play and youâll often need to pick a hero of your choice and be assigned with a random deck. During those brawls, they wonât have deck disadvantages.
IâM F2P all my cards earn by gold (beside 3 card packs I got from a gamekit and a friend)
basically never spend the $$$ there bigger thing complain about this game
Iâve never paid as much as a single penny for this game.
I have slightly over 31,000 dust at this time. If I hit the Mass Disenchant button, I will add another 44,000 dust.
Yes, Iâm a long time player. I did not get that in a few months. Thatâs the deal with F2P games with micro-transactions. You either pay money to go a lot faster, or you accept a much slower pace and play for free.
I wonder just how much of a dust loss has occurred with triple protection being active on so many new accounts. Itâs good that they are more likely to get the card they want from the packs BUT it limits their ability to craft specific cards early, without killing off something else.
Just an interesting thought.
another thought is: how many less card do people need to craft now when they instead get all the commons and rares fairly quick.
On the beginning yes. But later, if you stick with the game, it gets much easier. Especially after few years, when you just dust your old collection - I bought maybe 3x special offers (3x10 decks or something similar) and I dusted 40k in March.
You can get from quests and wins around 70 gold per day+1 free deck per week from tavern brawl. That means that in a year you have 54 decks + around 10-15 free decks for expansions + 25000 gold - that is all together around 320 decks.
Just decide on one class you want to play and dust everything from the other classes. Thats what I did long ago - so I could craft some rares and an epic.
You can always win some at lower ranks.
This is the part a lot of newer players miss, IMO. I find that most of the aggravation comes from not even knowing what class to play. I mean why would they, if they havenât played the game?
The apprentice levels should only include the base sets, so people can get use to play styles. On that note I would also like to see each class before leaving apprentice, with an option to skip for experienced players. Nothing worse than hitting netdecks at apprentice 20, with 20 more levels to go.
