finishes his plays every turn in just a few secs and then wait till rope explodes…
It’s not against the rules. So there’s nothing to report.
well, this is annoying… anything we can do at all?
Wait.
Turn on the sound loud enough that you can hear what’s going on and do some household chores.

Alright, maybe he’s thinking about what to play. Maybe your deck doesn’t require this much consideration. Think of it like this.
Opponent is playing a memey OTK deck, maybe, the Dozing Marksman Mage OTK deck. But, despite the very low winrate and terrible deck, with enough big brain power, you could theoretically predict every move and eventually win the game.
You, on the other hand, are playing Odd Paladin. Hero Power. Vomit hand. Hero power. Vomit hand. Hit face. Win.
You see?
roping is essential to game play. Its suppose to say something to those who play Tier decks in Casual. Or those who roll out the super mage god decks in brawl each week vs the meek. It allows for those with no cards to get wins vs people with all the cards as they will concede.
Roping is essential to the game.
Besides, watch the Pro tournaments. All the Pros take up every second of every turn. You’re suppose too.
Im going to take a wild guess and ask, do you by any chance play big priest?
Some guys like these are worth a report for sure…
I rope right back. I do not care. I give you to turn 3 because life happens but I will start my roping then. I dont care if you start to play faster you get roped. It’s sad that even high rank players get roped every so often.
100% this!!!
If you take for ever to muligan, then take the vast majority of turn 1 because you decided to que for a game then wander off to go do god knows what while I sit and wait for you to play…you are getting roped…
Playing vomit pally yet still seem to take over a minute every turn I’ll give you a couple turns, spam hello and such…then its rope on…
Grab a card and hover it over the board for 30 seconds before you play it every turn…your getting roped…
Empty board and 3 cards in your hand but somehow you need 80 seconds to figure out what to do…you’re probably getting roped…
Playing a deck that takes some thought, or some complicated board, fine, take as much time as you need…
Slow play…you are getting roped, every turn for the rest of the game
Patience is a virtue, learn it here, and it will help you in every other aspect of life.
Ropers are annoying, but this game’s pace is glacial in general. Just tab out.
Hearthstone is the game you play while doing something else.
I enjoy roping each and every turn.
This game is not chess in anyway shape or form thus thinking is optional. I don’t really have to put any true thought into my deck, seeing how I can simply go to Hearthpwn to copy the “hottest” deck or simply watch one of the streamers to copy their deck.
I enjoy roping each and every turn. Why? you may ask…
Because I love the idea that behind your computer screen, while I’m letting that rope slooooowly burn away; you’re losing your sh*t, screamin’ at the screen, slamming your fists on your desk (or laptop) or squeezing your Iphone (or whatever mobile device) insanely hard. I absolutely relish in the idea that I can be a complete and total jerk (read that as a-hole) and there’s nothing you can do about it. NOTHING. AT. ALL.
I tend to ignore morons, so gg
some children just dont know how to win without roping
Dang dude, that’s nuts. I don’t personally have ever really thought that about my opponents, but when people do rope I just imagine them thinking really hard for some reason or another.
The rope is a neat desing feature that lets you know a turn is about to end so I don’t know why do people get so infurated to see it burn since everyone can and should use the time they have allowed each turn, sure there are ugly mechanics that can manipulate this to an extent like loosing your time beacuse of animations (againts a boar/test subjet combo priest for instance) but those are fails in the system of the game overall. Now there is also the common cortesy that if your turns, usually early ones, don’t require much decision making being quick is apreciated but this does not mean that if your opponent uses his whole time allowed in HIS turn they’re wasting your time since is not your time at all to beggin with, so OP chill and be patient or stop being a ray of sunshine and learn some patience belive me it will help you in life overall.
If the opposing player is finishing his actions well before the rope and then clearly waiting each turn for the rope to burn then I believe Blizzard does consider that griefing and it’s reportable. However, if they’re taking their time and finishing up their turn at the end of the rope then that’s just part of the game you have to deal with.
I have played with people who make snap plays then rope thier turns to be rude. It just makes beating them feel nice. Especially this one wall priest.
The whole streamer community would collapse as they wouldn’t have time to thank their subs or make silly comments…
