I’m beside myself trying to figure out why I can’t find a counter to the whole exploding in your face decks. Rogues and warriors milling their decks, clearing the board along the way. You can’t deal any damage to them, you can’t heal, you can’t remove the cards from your deck. Playing against “I win for showing up” is not fun.
Editing in that I’m still, for about 10 years now, STILL waiting for Priests to see the limelight.

Yes, you can remove cards from your deck, there is this new Legendary you know… Kil’Jadean or what is it’s name. This can changed your whole deck into random demons, so remove every TNT, Plagues, etc from it… But this helps only on your deck… Won’t help with Asteroids for example. Against those the best choice I think is to have board presence because their damage is spreading between all enemies.
Priest has a weird design in this game. They gave it the character of “stealer” but that might be close to the rogue lore being a robber occasionally. In wow the priest is closer to a damage dealer or/and healer so only the damage via healing seems in line here.
Basically the overhealing priest seems in line but not so much spamming ‘Aman’thul’ which annoys people.
Not sure why you think it’s underpowered though. Overhealing and Zarimi priests were the best decks.
