Yeah, to NOT play that class in ranked, and if you play 3 games in casual with 2-3 classes just to see draws / mulligan, its pretty easy from there.
Lol, when I see anyone invoking common sense in a in-depth discussion of a topic I know they have no logical arguments.
There have been decks with insane winrates like Wild Discard Warlock after Caverns was released. When such a crazy deck appears and it’s power goes hand in hand with popularity it’s WR decreases because it faces more mirror matches.
Congratulations Captain, you found the obvious cap.
You need to play more games
Also, your rank needs to be Legend to be more precise because too many players are spread between, for example, Diamond V - I to cover with a same statistic
It just doesn’t mean much when the difference between a Diamond V 1 star and Diamond I 2 stars is around 100k people by skill
The higher you are, the more precise the statistic
Like, you’re pulling a statistic from whole Diamond, which should have much more players than Legend only, ofc it’s not going to be as relevant for 1 Diamond player, because HIS sample is even less of a % than a Legend one’s in the total sample.
Anyway, enough conversing with tin-foiled hats for one day.
The stupidity has no ends.
Most of the HS standard players are below Legend, which means the higher you are the less precise the statistic is for the whole HS.
Now, just an example. VS reports say that Paladins have the biggest win rate.In the last 3 months i’ve met 5 paladins, 1 before Legend, 4 after Legend, and i won all 5 games. What does that say about the VS report ? it say that for my personal experience VS report doesnt mean anything, its like a story with Godzilla on the news.
That also means that i’ve been placed in the other % of the paladins win rate, and the stats of the paladin might be true but i dont have any conclusive evidence of that.
As for the obvious crappy take on the higher you are the more precise it gets … thats again a circulary and heres how :
The players using the 3rd party programs are those tryharding, which is not a bad thing. However, only those tryharding are providing data to the sites. Tryharding, biologically speaking means you play more, and you are better than the average / normal players … and if you stay and think for a moment you will see that it becomes somewhat of an elite club of HS, so they are providing their own data to the sites and due to most of them being in legend, which is not that easy for normal players, it becomes self fulfilling prophecy.
Now about that tinfoil hat, i would gladly wear if you ever come up with some based arguments not just hearsay and opinions, thanks.
The only thing we know for certain about player numbers is what Blizzard has said in the past. The last time they spoke on this subject the popularity was BG. Standard, then Wild and BG’s was quite a bit more popular overall. The only time standard got close to BG’s was at an expansion release and that only lasted about a week max.
Numbers have also been WAY down since the Chinese servers closed. China was their largest server by far and nobody was even close. I play on the APAC server and it is by far the most active currently. After China returns we will have to see if that holds.
You should both stop talking about ranks in this context (either because you’re mislead or because you want to show off your rank again (Altair)).
It’s about collecting enough samples since your conjecture here is that the Devs are rigging the game so it’s irrelevant what “league” you are.
PS the game is now purely matching by MMR so you can easily find Legend ranks mixing with Platinum especially if it’s early in a month.
