Or rather, in “uncensored” mode? Or rather, real/true Hearthstone mode? Because I’m tired of these changes (these changes being artwork dumbing down) happening to great cards and great artwork. So I am asking you now as a loyal customer/player since beta, every expansion, can you please include a version of the client or an option within the game client to play with the game as it is meant to be played, with the card artwork it was meant to have? Because I am sick and tired of this, the Jaina one was bad enough but okay whatever it was just one small thing but now this is getting ridiculous. Because I know this is just the first batch to be changed, more are on the way, I’m sure. So please for the sake of true Hearthstone fans and customers, just include an option that can be checked to play the game as it was intended, not the kiddy game you seem to want to turn it into.

Beta and every expansion pack player who loves the game but really questions some of the things you are doing to it and yeah it may seem small but this is a true negative impact for the adults out there who enjoy HS. You know, the ones who actually pay for cards and appreciate great artwork.
Also apparently dust disenchant values are the same on the changed artwork cards, I don’t know if you guys missed that or what but things like Secretkeeper are only being disenchanted for 20 dust right now even though it was changed/nerfed. I have filed a bug report. If it is determined to not be a bug, then I will quit this game for good (not even joking/trolling) and you will not get another cent out of my HS accounts. I really can’t emphasize enough how much I dislike the direction you are taking this game with “shoot self in the foot” type decisions. I really truly do not understand your thinking, it’s really sad to me honestly.

Are you really saying adding a check mark type box in the options allowing for the game to have original artwork, is somehow infringing on your game experience? Are you really…was I really so unclear, Monlyth? Is your post really in response to what you got out of my post? Because if so, that’s pretty sad, and I hope that you are able to complete high school. I know the reading comprehension is tough, but I believe that you will be able to get through it and succeed.
The censorship wasn’t done to make the game more child friendly. It was done to bring the game in line with censorship laws in China. The CCP has strict censorship laws in regards to death, gore and a myriad of other things. That’s why cards like the Succubus were changed. It’s not because Blizz declared war on boobs, it’s because China doesn’t want people to see them. It’s baffling to me that Blizz opted to change the art for EVERYONE rather than just make a separate Chinese client. The changes are to just artwork, so you could still have the censored Chinese client play with people running a non-censored client. Which is why I have a problem with this whole ordeal. Blizz is forcing Chinese Communist Party ideology on their entire player base.
The art changes have never been confirmed to be because of Chinese censorship laws, nor is there any reason this is the case.

Suggestion: Check your facts before enaging in online debate.
There is a separate client for the Chinese market. For years already. The reason it exists is that Blizzard chose to avoid complex discussions with the Chinese censors on the depicted skeleton on some cards, so instead they made this separate client that has no skeletons.
Are you sure you want to continue to argue that art changes in the non-Chinese clients are made because of Chinese ideology?
I’m sorry but… Explain to me how artwork changes have any affect on your gameplay, please, because I’m having a seriously hard time understanding why some people don’t seem to understand business and the art of making money.
