it just looks sooo hard to finish with all the tiers and every tier requiring more exp to complete. was the previous reward system more lucrative if you put in the same amount of work?
No.
It only takes about a month and a half to complete the first 100 levels of a reward tracks with completing just the Daily and Weekly Quests, even faster if you spend more time playing per day and do Achievements.

It’s actually incredibly easy to finish the first 100 levels as a casual player. If you finish all quests you can probably get something like level 150-180 depending if you bought the tavern pass or not.
Also after level 100 it’s gets much, much quicker. The XP requirement is reduced.

That’s a massive amount of time playing hearthstone.
Most of it AFK working from home
hmmmmm sounds just like what a bot does.
To get level 400 without a tavern pass he would have to play 8-9 hours per day. That’s a massive time sink.

Yeah, I finished at something like level 154 and I’m certainly no hearthstone fanatic. I didn’t even play the game for the entire 4 months during the barrens. No tavern pass as well.

check your quest log/achievements under gameplay theres tons of achieves you can do for exp so what i did was make decks set to those achieves because in the long run those achieves will pay out more than wins…you should see my rat king deck i can get as many of 6 out at a time lol and if your bored you can do bgs i get double the exp of a ranked if i survive 10+ rds so with practice bgs will level you fast i gained over 100 levels last expac doin jus bgs and saving gold ended up buying 40 packs of cards with gold i paid for a few things like tavern pass and bg perks but after those packs i dont need to buy more so i run bgs and save gold change my dailies/weeklies to match bg because its faster and easier i have noticed than braving ranked and you wont fall asleep
I play about 2-3 days a week, to get triple quests, the tavern brawl, and weekly quests. I think the rate at which more xp is required levels off a bit, but yeah, leveling definitely slows around lvls 40-60, but then it seems relatively constant to me, and it gets faster again when maxed. The rewards improve around this point, so it’s still nice. I think I tend to get around lvl 150 in the end, even while playing pretty passively.

I call BS. It used to be easy to finish the rewards track, now the Mini Set was just released, and I’m inching along despite playing a lot and having the stupid Tavern Pass. WHAT GIVES, BLIZZARD!? All the extra rewards give pointless gold circles now that seem to not do anything? What is that even FOR!? Almost nothing advances the stupid reward track! I am so ready to give up on this stupid game. Charge us honestly. Stop F***ing with us!

i literally was 130 before Voyage began, it’s easy getting to 100 as long as you complete your Dailies and Weeklies.
I finished my rewards track like a month ago so it’s possible
This miniset was released about 2 weeks sooner (compared to the main expanion) than other minisets. Hence you’re still at a lower level than usual.
