Is HS rng a scam?

  1. I attacked no one personally.
  2. I stated its not “True random” , i never argued that. Still waiting for you to explain how that effects the game in any meaningful way.
  3. Your belief that rigging is used in a positive manner doesn’t automatically absolve you from spreading misinformation without evidence.

A whole flat earth movement started because of herd mentality and people’s words going unchecked. Come correct. I’m sick of living in a world where I don’t know what the hell is, and isn’t true. People like you add to it.

I’ll bite… trolls… sometimes they hide in plain site and can even form sentences… There I attacked too. Lol

I’ll take my leave of you. Take care

Yayyyy, he’s leaving!

Because if your opponent gets good RnG it’s called ‘rigging’, but if you get good RnG it’s called ‘skillz’

My opinion on this has been the same for a long time.

The RnG in this game has gone batshiz crazy, and it is making player’s paranoid with all the limitless insanity that goes on in games. The lackeys, discoveries and Galakrond shenanigans have just compounded the problem, and have helped to make the game feel unbalanced and not as enjoyable as it once was.

However, there is no conspiracy, and Blizzard are not working with the Illuminati and the Mormons to make RnG go against you.

As promised.

Link to patch note and the quote that shows they can, have and will manipulate how the game works. Want more? Search…

You are aware that the patch notes are talking about the draft phase of Arena, not the actual game, right?

I guess you misremembered and thats the best you can find?

Human memory is so unreliable… tsk tsk.

the only reason to meantion " true random" part has to be you are able to predict all random cards outcomes with 100% accuracy

then why dont you livestream yourself doing this ?

I know. It does show that they do indeed take this information into account. Beyond that it’s not really that much of a concern to me. I do agree that people shouldn’t be so worried about it. Can’t imagine they would specifically target people to lose. But to outright deny that it’s possible and to adamantly demand to shut down a conversation about it because it damages someone’s opposing beliefs is really not the way to deal with things… IMO of course.

Some posters in this thread seem to feel it’s their duty to demand people tote the line or else

I purposely stack a deck of cards and then ask you to tell me what cards are going to come out when. Can you do it? Were they random? They were to you. Until you find out that they were actually stacked to provide a specific outcome.

I don’t Livestream and I’m not psychic lol

If the game was really rigged to push everyone toward 50% via stacked card draw and RNG manipulation, bad decks would do a LOT better than they currently do.

I’m not talking about match rigging. Not sure if that’s a thing or not to be honest. I’m not effected by it personally. My contribution to this thread is more so on the “Yes, it’s controlled” but “No, it’s not against you specifically” side of things.

There are many factors, as we all know, that can influence a good card draw. Card synergy, mana curve, etc… and we can play to that as we build our decks. But let’s not kid ourselves to think that the card draws are a random act of nature when they are a programmed set of possible outcomes in reality.

We also know that, because of cards like Zeph, the game can analyze a board state and determine which cards to offer. So again the ability to manipulate the game is there. The question is the motivation behind why it does what it does vs does it actually do it… for me at least

Almost 50 responses to a troll thread, I can’t believe blizzard got rid of jesse… Please don’t respond to obvious bait of trolls saying they’d call a criminal investigation agency on a children’s card game.

if it cant be predicted then its random

That isn’t always true. I spent years in casinos and their slot machines can’t be predicted, but if you think they’re random then you are the kind of client they are looking for.

IDK about where you live, but where I live its a legal requirement for slot machines to be “rigged”. By law they must payout 87% or more, of what goes into them. Sure, the majority of that is in small amounts that dont get pulled out of the machine, but its still a legal requirement.

Yep. exactly. The machines are weighted, like I suspect this game is.

Except there is no legal requirement here, nor reason for Blizzard to manipulate the system. Using the Zeph analogy from above, they said thats like 1000 lines of code in one card. How much coding time do you think it would take to implement a similar algorithm for the game, AND to keep it updated with each new set?

Can they do it, sure not denying it. But thats a lot of resources to sink into something that a ladder/mmr system achieves by its very nature.

Well; We will never know, but I watch this game beat lottery odds on practically a daily basis. Whole lot of smoke for no fire.
