Is HS rng a scam?

At times hs rng is so rigged, i think i need to call the fbi about an investigation if hs is scamming their player base.

Why is it only rigged at times? I’m not quite understanding that part.

I haven’t believed it’s random in years.

Its because its coded on the server side to manipulate RNG on Thursday 17:00 - 20:00 CET and on Saturday 11:00 - 14:00 CET

you should do it, please post a photo of your filed report here

You’re right. The game manipulates the outcome of draws and discovers. It really does. It does NOT specifically target players for losing streaks. Because it does not control who plays what card and when.

The game will occasionally introduce “flavour” by giving that perfect draw or run of cards. Why? Because that happens in real life. Sure it doesn’t happen near as often in real life as it does in the game but how boring would that be? Have you ever actually watched people playing poker in RL? Not on TV, where the good bits are sliced together in a 1 hour show…

How boring of a game would we be playing if the game didn’t shove miracle wins and big explosions down our throats? We all watched Mythbusters for the fantastic story line, right? Nope BOOOOOOOMMMMMM!!!

I’ll admit that I’ve enjoyed some of the RNG based games I’ve played. Granted I’ve also wanted to initiate a nuclear war over a turn 5 lethal out of nowhere or a 1 health hail mary that turns into dark things of which nightmares come from.

Just try to enjoy the good games and the rest chalk up to a really broken meta

Do you know what the word ‘scam’ even means?

I wager that no.

I bet you’re really big into astrology and “cant even” without your latte.

Lol nope. I just don’t believe that computers are truly random… but I’ve been around since their creation and don’t think their magic boxes

But the computer will “introduce flavor by giving the perfect draws” … ?

You really trying to backpedal out of your insane statement by crutching on true randomness?

The phenomenon youre looking for is not an electronic one, its a mental one.

Humans remember bad things happening to them way more than good things. Its a survival mechanism, and any cop will tell you that eye witness accounts are incredibly unreliable.

When you top deck the perfect card, it was calculated… you planned it out turns ahead because youre amazing at the game. When your opponent does it, its a scam, they got lucky, the game is rigged.

When cards “always start in their opponents hands” they for one, arn’t even bothering to pay attention when those cards arn’t played from the opening hand, and two, have never bothered to do the math. You have 9 chances to pull the card you want going second… at a 1 in 15 probability. Thats incredibly likely, but people would rather assume it isnt likely.

How is it a scam if they’re making people win?

Me thinks thou are projecting your own potential flaws on to others. I didn’t back paddle. The game 100% decides what cards come out. It can be manipulated anyway that the programmers want them to be. But for people to think that they are directly against player A or player B then that’s the insane part.

To think that a computer, a non-thinking machine with a number generator is an actual random act is equivalent to believing Chris Angel can actually fly from one building to another.

What does that have to do with the machine when it will “introduce flavor by giving the perfect draws” … ?

It’s not true randomness, but its simulated well enough for a children’s card game. The way you word your statement makes it sound intentional. Also, can an auto-shuffler in a casino “Truly deliver a shuffled deck” its still a victim of its own programming. Should humans be the only ones expected to be able to deliver “True randomness” with their bumbling hands and gravity? I’ve always found this argument completely irrelevant.

I would say this is a joke post, but just the other day I topdecked Galakrond while my hand was full, so clearly it’s true!

It has everything to do with it. They have posted adjustments to draw chances many many times in patch notes. You think that technology is somehow not going to effect how the game plays out? Do you think that people would keep playing if those perfect draws came out as often as they would with a physical set of cards?

A physical set of cards is randomized through play and shuffling. The game completes a mathematical equation to determine what is going to happen next. That equation is adjusted based on the factors of previous plays and a new result is suppose to happen. Sadly, because computers don’t have the ability to make an actual random choice, they tend to make the same choice multiple times, see random minion spawns or discover mechanics that present the exact same option.

It is delusional to believe that the game is ever going to truly be fair. That we should be able to agree on at the least. A multitude of factors contribute but the the fact still remains.

It is my belief that the game adds flavour by comparing decks pre-match and “stacking” them in such a way that certain things have a possibility of happening. Note that I said possibility. The game does not decide if you break the combo it set up for turn 7 by playing one of the cards on turn 2. The game DOES decide what “perfect card” is offered by Zeph and that, my friend, is where the game manipulation proof comes from. Also see the term “Pity Timer” on the “random” cards that come out of packs.

But I digress

Random is a $#@#$.

Just lost 10 consecutive tavern brawls by turn 6 each time. 4 of my 10 opponents played 3 SN1P turns by turn 4.

You make too many assumptions for me to take you seriously.

Im not a fortune teller like you, I’m not going to sit here and act like I know why millions of people play a game, I’ve never seen the source code either. I’ve also never seen them mention changing “draw chances”. Would love to see it.

You are the computer equivalent of a woo woo hippy. Can’t take you seriously lol.

You left out the part at the number generator: Random.
RNG have been around for decades, there’s ton of industry work on them. It’s as random as it gets in the first thousand years of your life or so.

I didn’t ask for you to take me seriously. Honestly your personal opinion of me and my beliefs don’t really mean that much lol. But obviously I’ve slighted you somehow or at the least I remind you of someone that has. For that I will apologize and I hope that one day you’ll be able to let that go.

As for the patch notes… I’ll look for you. Searching isn’t too hard.

Yup I did. Sorry about that. It is indeed named a Random Number Generator. I once had a dog named cat too.
