RageMage101 put it really nicely: " Cards like scales of onyxia, insatiable devourer, flipper friends, topior allow a druid to always be able to remove whatever the enemy plays
The opponent plays wide, you play scales or flipper friends and remove the board
The opponent plays big minions, you play insatiable devourer and destroy anything they build and also build tempo in the meantime
I dont know whoever designed insatiable devourer, but they are stupid. It’s literally an assassinate that destroys 3 minions whilst also absorbing their stats and creating a giant minion of your own.
Remember a card called abominable lieutenant? I dont know how you can forget it consider it came out 2 expansions ago. It is an 8 mana card that destroys 1 random minion and gains its stats. Insatiable devourer costs 1 more mana, and does 3x the effect, whilst also being a targetable, non random, effect. This card is broken. They literally power creeped a card 3x over within 2 expansions. Its being used in mage, in hunter, in druid. Whatever class plays tokens this card is played. The ultimate swing tool. The ultimate tempo turn. How do you play against it?? Just not play any minions???
So, they dont follow the weakness the have been given. What are their weakness then?"
