IMMOLATE -- stop right there, do not include

This card by itself completely demolishes control decks. Make a argo warlock deck, include TWO of these in it and you auto win.

Whoever designed this card please resign from the development team. Asap. If you opt to bring in ideas that completely destroy one of two sides of hearthstone you will make it purely argostone.

inmolate is a nice control warlock card

There have always been cards that counter certain archetypes. There are several AoE spells that counter aggro, too

I don’t know of many aggro decks that would run a 4 mana do nothing on this turn card to be quite honest with you

Can an aggro deck that wastes 4 mana to get a benefit after 3 turns be considered an aggro deck?
Drektar is a better 4 mana play

Pretty sure it’s not intended as a warlock aggro card, although they could run it fine against slow decks. It really seems to be intended more as a curse support card to make your opponent have to decide between using cards tagged for immolation or spending mana removing curses. If so, then it does this quite wonderfully. Curse warlock by its very nature is a slower paced deck itself. I already hate the card just by its very design. We went from Tickatus burning your deck, to warlocks killing you with their own fatigue, now to warlocks punishing slower decks for holding on to cards until their value is maximized…yeehaw.

Just saw this card being introduced by a steamer with the title “if they print this card I will uninstall Hearthstone.”

Lol, the streamer sounded like he was only half joking.

For me, once this card enters the meta, I’m out for the next two years, see ya.

Why do you care if your cards get burned?

It’s an excuse to play a more fun game. Probably for the best tbh. Make it burn them in 2 turns.

yeah, just saw this card in play for the first time. I quit

What bothers me is, that it works on unplayable cards too. If you drop it on curve and your opponent has a 9-mana card in hand, the opponent has no chance to use that card in any way if the cards cost are not reduced.

Blizz designed a WL card named Corrupted Gazer for 3 Mana which would corrupt a PLAYABLE card which gets discarded at the end of the next turn if it is not played.

We have to see if this card is used and how good it is, but I would like to see it, that beginning after three turns the cards get destroyed if you did not play it with enough max mana available.

so change it to playable aand discard next turn instead of 3 turns later

They won’t change it at all–the reason it’s in rotation is so you can’t hold 9 or 10 cards in your hand to keep them from putting more Curses in your hand. With Immolate they’re almost guaranteed to ez-mode drop a bunch of curses in your now empty hand and face roll to victory.

Love this card, so many ramp druids concede after I play it.

i wish ur joy of winning was from brain cells of ur own, rather than brain cell of the developer.

Does that actually seem reasonable to you?

I’ve only faced this card once, & it was a wasted tempo he didn’t have to waste. It only burned one card & I easily won.

More hysterical nonsense.

The more I think about it, I think this card will discourage combo / OTK types of decks, which actually helps control.

Never heard of this card. But leave it to you to go off talking about something random.

So literally to run counter to cards to require more cards in hand.

Does spamming this seem reasonable to anyone?

Unironically posted.
