So now you are admitting that your Theory of Discover being rigged is conjecture/speculation or in other words a Theory.
Just because discover exists in the game doesn’t mean it has anything to do with rigging. It would be like saying farts are what humans breathe to live because farts exist as a non 0% part of the air.
It’s actually full of unpaid virtue signalers.
Maybe I propose this: the whole conversation ultimately amounts to nothing, because neither side has any real proof.
Perhaps the only takeaway is that when people come here upset, proclaiming the apocalypse is real, others choose not to calm them down, either by refraining from responding or stepping away when the conversation spirals out of control.
Instead, they’d rather argue for 200 replies, only for nothing to be resolved.
This thread offers plenty of insights, such as the instinctive human tendency to recycle.
People revisit the same topic, on a “rigged” thread, day after day, month after month, rehashing the same arguments.
It can shift an outsider’s perspective, like mine, to see that the mess exists on both sides of the fence, and that it’s better to just sweep it under the rug rather than splatter it everywhere for everyone to see.

its 100% rigged. Whenever i craft junk meme decks i meet bots or new players, whenever i play meta decks i meet counters to my deck and so on. Other times i never meet certain decks/classes until i switch and my first game is always a whole new experience.

The difference is that you can prove the existence of something but can’t prove the non-existence of something.
Rigging whiners use that fundamental fact of logic to hide their inability to actually do their own homework, falsely claiming some sort of equivalence between the two positions. “It’s impossible to know so I could be right” is not an argument. And, none of you ever bother explaining how you all can be sure rigging exists after an afternoon on the couch but it is somehow completely impervious to the millions upon millions of recorded games from data aggregators, to say nothing of the streamers showing you in real time.

If you really want a counterexample to your absurd statement and not just play a demagogue… I was about to suggest something like the Banach-Tarsky paradox or perhaps even something more clear, like Hilbert’s tenth problem, but I’m afraid I’ll have to provide something rather more… simplistic. How about this: your posts are proof enough that common sense or logical reasoning doesn’t exist in your heid.

Sparky is actually correct, the adage it’s impossible to prove a negative should have died with Euclid if not before. There are many examples of negative proofs in mathematics.
However in this particular case - to disprove rigging we would need a formal definition of rigging. And as it’s impossible to get sparky to provide one, this becomes a proof by contradiction.

We’d also have to get them to accept evidence contrary to their beliefs.
Blizz devs told us how the matchmaker worked back in 2016. They got accused of lying, and so quite logically stopped engaging with the community on the topic any more.
Even if they posted the entire matchmaker code, line by line, the whiners would insist it’s fabricated.
Also, negative proofs basically only work in math. If X is true, Y cannot be true due to the specific known relationship between X and Y. Mathematics is a system where you can have perfect knowledge, which is why I chose the example that I did. You can’t prove unicorns don’t exist because there’s no way to know, for sure, that on no other planet in no other galaxy life has evolved into unicorns. It’s that lack of knowledge that motivates the rigging whining. That, and being unable to reconcile their perceived skill with their actual real-world performance.
Serious thought is wasted, there is only comedy value to be had at this point.

By literal definition (I’m not sure what other definition we would use except the actual definition)…the game is rigged. It isn’t even a question, and it isn’t even close. Which is why it’s ridiculous the amount of wrongful shaming and silencing against people such as myself simply for sharing the truth and trying to enlighten people. I guess it’s my fault for believing people here ever wanted to come out of the allegorical Cave. But I still have faith one day, past all the stages of grief, they can finally accept what is true.
A formal definition for example would be that the game is rigged so that you are given specific matchups depending on the deck you play. You can then look at ways to prove or disprove that based on data.

We already know that to be true…I’ve already done all the research on this countless times. I’ve already done all the arguments with the countless ostriches here.
