Maybe for expert players it is a different experience. i cannot get past rank 10 with it, and it’s slow and completely RNG dependent.
What do you mean by RNG dependant ?
It’s true that BOX is a crazy RNG card but definitely worth running since it’ll save your butt more often than not.
Tyler has been playing highlander mage almost exclusively in this meta and is always top 100 Legend.
Mage is in a really good spot in standard (at least until rotation) I think you are the problem here.

As a warlock only player mage is really frustrating it’s not even fair and like 2 games out of 3 I’m playing against them. Blizzard fine keep it up this crazy as hell combo deck but bring back nagalock grim patron and kingsbane because it’s the same thing as this deck but less good. Really anoying.
Well I’m glad Tyler did well with it. That wasn’t my experience at all and I would love to see Blizzard get away from dice roll cards that have nothing to do with player decisions. I don"t like Puzzle Box. I don’t like Amazing Reno. I don’t like Zeph and I won’t be playing much Standard until there is some other style besides dice roll Mage.
