I would like to ask you for advice. The thing is that yesterday I got a teammate in the battleground game who did not behave very well and sold everything for nothing and then laughed at me. Where or who should I turn to with a request that the developers try to focus on adding the option to report my teammate. Unfortunately, this option is not available on phones at least and believe it or not I would have used it at least five times.
Theres no battlegrounds rules. Even if there was, nobody is gonna enforce that.
This is Blizzard we’re talking about. Botting in WoW is “against the rules”, and they don’t enforce that. You think some half hearted report system is gonna do anything? Lmao.
If what happened was that his teammate was intentionally trying to throw the game to troll, then the game is better off without him in it. If Blizzard takes an action against the player (i.e. a warning or temporary suspension), perhaps he modifies his behavior. And if not, then he can be banned. That sort of conduct is not good for the gaming experience of the rest of the player base.
And then you log in and see the congo line of bots on their way to their destinations. The “ban wave” is a false narrative, they didn’t ban a damn thing and every player knows it.
It’s definitely against the rules to intentionally lose duos. Will there ever be a way to report it? Probably not. I can see how it would be aggravating. Maybe make a personal note of their username and concede if you ever see them again?
It’s not so much about rules as it is about behavior. Think about it before you write something like that, please. If a person like that wants to do something literally embarrassing on purpose, then don’t mess around in two-player games, but only ruin your own statistics, not others.
I am sorry to hear that your Duos partner behaved like that. I don’t have any better ideas than Technical Support as Ginger suggested. I do agree that there should be an option to report a Duos partner with the way that mode works and how dependent you are upon your partner to make an honest attempt to do their best.
And I’m not sure why so many are engaging with chiapet. His constant LMAO about other people’s unhappiness shows he just might have the same kind of sociopathic enjoyment of other people’s misery like OPs partner.
