I hate this mercenary crap so much

It adds nothing of value to the game. Why do you keep adding useless crap to the game? It adds no fun, and just seems pointless entirely. Please stop. It is unfun garbage.

I just played it. I kinda like it. Have you tried it yet?

That’s the cool thing about opinions. You don’t have to like everything other people like.

cant it wont let me buy free buildings, says I dont have enough currency

???

you play a videogame and find having fun something of no value???

Mercenaries is…okish. Sorta sucks .

Not a complete bore, but I wouldn’t call it fun either. You could probably find something of greater quality/cheaper/more fun on steam. Only time I see myself playing it is when I have a quest I can complete there .

It also seems pretty barebones. Visually, at the very least.

I was… expecting more, but I’ll probably play it for a little longer. I have Fire Emblem on my switch down the hallway. I can’t really see why I would play this game over it. But hey, another mode for people that DO want to play it I guess.

The only thing about Mercenaries that sucks is, you can’t craft Skins.
How much money must I spend to get my Diamond Skins for Gul’dan and Jaraxxus…

Ahh, you’re one of those encouraging this kind of behavior from Blizzard. Don’t be that guy or girl.

Mode is not bad but its not great either. I would like it if it was more f2p like Battlegrounds. But spending money for this? Absolutely no way. I mean Standard is at a bad spot right now but i still find it way better to buy packs for normal HS.

I almost preordered the Lich King or Diablo pack. I am so relieved I did not.
Edit: First legendary merchant I got was Lich King. I am so glad I did not preorder Lich King.

agreed, this doesnt have the feel of game worth the money.

Geoguessr gives you more fun than this and it costs what, 2dollars per month for full version?

my quick f2p thoughts:
pros:
its almost relaxing to not have to worry about playing against reall p2w opponents (for now)
i used o like the heroic boss challenge, but when you beat one the forst time there was no replay value in that… at least this seems endless.

cons:
it too easy and a slow grind… eventually getting new heros at rank 1 f2p seems like that would be a counterproductive grind to level them up from scratch later.
its seems its probably best to wait a month or so to find out which are the best teams before you even begin, but whats the fun in that.

its boring, and a total waste of time. There are so many similar games out there already like this, except way more fun to play.

I powered through the first set of bounties (4-18) and I gotta say…it’s very repetitive. Even if you find yourself actually hitting a spot where you fail, you just keep grinding until your mercs out level the encounters lol. Aaaand the “rewards”? XP that goes toward stuff you have, or crafting stuff you don’t, but that’s about it. Interesting attempt in making it a gold sink though. Every time I went to upgrade something and it said “Free”, I was like uh, lets see how long this lasts for lol. It creeps in after the first build at 100-200g to upgrade, but I’m really not interested to see how high it goes lol.

Im torn in between , its good but its bad …

Im all for new modes for HS , Bg and merc are decent addition but also a huge workload on blizzard’s back , i just hope they can maintain content in between all 3 !!

I got through the first zone’s worth of quests and unlocked the second. It seems okay. A little fun; nice to play when there’s interruptions and I can pause for a while. Seemed potentially grindy and maybe not deep enough, but I also haven’t unlocked any equipment yet, and still have half the heroes to go.

I’m sure I’ll get funny looks about this, but I also don’t always know which cards are Alliance or Horde when that comes up. I don’t really play WOW. I know a few of the races. But like what’s a blink fox? Alliance, horde, neutral?

I’ll give it some time, plus a few patches. I also haven’t played against a live person yet, though honestly I think I prefer single player mode anyway.

I avoided all information & just jumped in with the tutorial.

I enjoyed it.

I find Mercenaries to be more fun and understandable than Battlegrounds, and certainly more manageable from a time perspective. But that’s a very low bar. Ranked has more strategy and enjoyment imo: a lot more effort went into designing Ranked years ago, and everything new is not as well-thought out.

You ahte it because you don’t know what you’re doing LOL
