It’s not even fair. When i choose it, when anyone else chooses it. Beetle is horribly overpowered. By turn 6 you are in control. Not often I call for a Nerf but man.

Truth was spit. The other day I went top 3, and ALL THE TOP 4 was beatles.
I didn’t even think it was possible. I’d imagine we’d self-nerf ourselves.
Beetles can pop off with either deathrattles + baron or battlecrys + rylak, with Brann being a multiplier. They really only need their own tribe to be good, so that is why they are so strong. Honestly, unless you get bran/baron though, they can be beat by any high scaling stats build early though.
I don’t mind that they are strong, as other builds can be very powerful too, but I wish they could have made them differently. There really is only one beast build now and it is super predictable. Seeing the same card build attempts and Beatles, over and over again, gets old. At least make the cards pretty or use some other animal, I don’t know. But I also don’t love undead (and sometimes pirates) for the same kind of reason. (the persistent poet+pirate+rivendare is especially annoying – I’d rather see a beetle build than this)
Some of my games get so laggy from waiting for the card play to be over and by the time that happens, I get no tavern time.
Previous beast build wasn’t great too, and was also predictable in some of the cards you needed, but at least the cards were prettier to look at.
