I am reminded why I stopped playing this

I am getting sick and tired of every game ending after 4 turns. Why even bother having a deck with 30 cards?

I haven’t had a “genuine” standard ranked match end within 4 turns in at least a month or longer. DEFINITELY prior to Great Dark Beyond launch. Though, in all fairness, I’m defining “genuine” to mean neither me, nor my opponent, conceded or disconnected. Obviously I could queue up as many games as I want and just insta-concede, that’s not what I think you’re trying to talk about though.

My guess is your deck and/or mulligan choices could be improved. What are you trying to run with?

If you have stopped playing the game, why are you still playing the game?

Only just started getting back into it a few days ago after taking a long 6 month break. I can’t recall anything specific other than players having really strong card synergy in the early rounds of the game. They usually have low level minions that get super buffed early and then the game is over after like 5 turns. It feels like I barely even get to play anymore. Like what the F is the point if the game is over before it even begins?

Okay, so. You’re going to be eligible for the loaner decks if you’ve been away that long. Try them out, and at the end of the trial period they GIVE you one of those to keep. Just running one you’re comfortable with, as-is, should get you at least Gold 10, maybe even Gold 5, given enough dedication and games played.

Then you can augment that by taking a look at the decklists cropping up around deck tracking websites like hsreplay or VS. I’m confident you can break into the Plat’s even as F2P that way.

Of course, this is all predicated on you still enjoying the game, and more specifically, enjoying the ranked meta. You didn’t like it 6 months ago, and nobody here except you can figure out if you like it enough to stick around the second time around. But if you WANT to improve, I just gave you the pathway.

are you a hearthstone employee? if so you should know its all random. no skill at all. the games to random. its like playing slot machines and that the reason you like the game in the first place.

Sounds like your issue isn’t the game, but the fact that people you played against actually put effort in to the decks they built…

I stopped playing when the Chinese bots were allowed to / and still do roam freely without this multibillion dollar company banning the entire region from server hopping.

It’s also why the group I found send in multiple mass reports to Hacks@Blizzard.com on a daily basis.

I’m gonna have to agree with the original post. This expansion is literally OTK themed. All my matches (the last 5 - 6) have been turn 8 OTK kills, all different decks to be fair. This expansion is gonna be nasty and maybe a good time to finally stop playing it’s getting expensive anyway.

Actually I’d heavily argue it’s not random at all, it follows an algorithm.

Nope, not random at all very calculated following an algorithm to match you with direct counters. In actuality you might be the corporate shill.

They put efford to copy decks from internet.

I don’t know why guys get so upset about comments I make on a video game that I’ve been playing since the beginning. Algorithm is like a slot machine algorithm and that’s OK.

Where else would they copy them from? Scrye?

lol. What? Okay bud take care.

Turn 8 is a far cry from turn 4 as claimed in the original post.

Yes, that must be why the same folks tend to win consistently.

Yes, streamers will win and consistently be at the top. How do you think people get interested in the game? I know it’s hard but think about that for a minute.
