you couldn’t make it to legend for 8 years but you are already in legend this month?
if you are bottom legend mmr player you need to play on the very last day of the season to make it to legend.
it’s easier.

My experience is that it’s allways easier at the end of the month, unless you’ve got the 11 star bonus.
With 11 you should try to rush legend

it’s easier because by the end of the season, almost all of the top players have made it to legend and now you are being matched against players who truly belong in your current rank.
