all welcome our new druid overlords, can’t wait for splish-splash to get unbanned as well
Didn’t have any because I have been aware for the last e years of HS expansions… but those Druid/warrior cards look crazy. I guess that’s what the people were asking for - give Warrior and Druid more power, right?
But the hopium is there is a deck hidden in PiP to finish games before turn 5
yipee lets give the 58% WR class with 40% representation on ladder even more OP cards that’s amazing!!!
i like the idea of druids if like they were real life characters controlling nature and the stars and all that is cool but man are they strong in hearthstone
Pfft Druid. Warriors going to abuse those druid cards way worse.
Those spoiled cards literally created or brought back 4 competitive warrior decks.
With 90% of the game having been druid/warrior/rogue/paladin… it certainly seems exciting for another 3 months of 90% of the game being druid/warrior/rogue and mabye paladin… but they seem to be mild losers this expansion.
I’m not seeing this at all.
50% today and about 40% this week of my games are DK right now.
Looking at what stats I can, paladin and hunter are awesome right now and no one is playing them.
On purpose, per a designer who shall not be named.
I might be in the minority, but those druid cards are actually some of the only things that managed to get me hyped this expansion. I’m going to be playing with this cutie SO much
With all respect.
People are overreacting over this card.
It is really impressive how much triggered people can get on mana limit. The only thing really scary about it is that warrior can use it.
I know you are a better player than me, so i will ask.
how is huge mana ramp not a tremendous advantage?
Exactly.
Mana ramp.
Mana limit does literally nothing on it’s own and i would even say that this card is weaker than wild growth.
If wild growth did go to wild today and this was put in it’s place the final result would be druid more balanced.
Idk Min. I do know that I am sick of Druid being handed everything, along with Rogue, because it’s “class identity”, and then, when my class complains about losing it’s identity, the players here tell me class identity is dead.
The bias/double standard is blatant, and it sickens me.
They really don’t.
It is just that devs exagerrated on ramp and wild growth should probably not be on the core at this point.
Because while it is a very simple card and even without any actual game balancing issues.
It is just on the verge of breaking the game to the point that any ramp has to compete with it.
Let the devs sell some cards here by printing more 3 mana ramp with bonuses rather than conditional ramp.
Omg warrior can use these cards you’re right. Oh boy that’s gonna get out of hand FAST
We are in awe of your story but it doesn’t matter, the meta is what it is not what you feel it to be.
Yes, sure, because all people are stupid and just pretend like when Guff was released people abused 20 mana limit and Guff had to be nerfed. Oh wait, that really happened.
It’s also hilarious that you dunk on people saying they are overreacting and then you say the card is scary. Split personality or wut?
Guff hero power was literally stronger than wild growth if people want to be honest about it.
2 mana gain a mana crystal(not empty).
But of course go ahead and tell yourself whatever you want.
The honest comparison here is with audio amplifier.
Another card that should not exist.
There is nothing “neutral” about the card.
I honestly feel the same way.
This was the most hyped I’ve ever been for an expansion because of stuff like Amalgam. But the Druid reveals just ruined everything.
I’m still hyped, just not for standard. I will have fun in wild.
But it’s as if the first 2-3 weeks of the expansion won’t matter much because we all have to play the waiting game for the cards to get nerfed before the real meta can begin. It’s so annoying that it’s always Druid time and time again.
The ability for this dev team to learn from their mistakes is non-existent it would seem. My theory that the dev team highly favors Druid because one of them play it religiously can’t help but to twitch a bit.
Some classes got absolute garbage except for like 2 cards, and then some classes didn’t just get 10 cards that were great for their class, but they also got like another 9 from the other class.
So some classes only got about 2-3 nice cards, others just hit the mega lottery and it’s as if they got 2 expansions in 1.
Feels super terrible if you’re playing a class that isn’t one of the highly favored design classes at this point.
