Hunter secret cost

Well, all I really know is that as far as this game goes, Mage was the original Secret class.
Hunter getting secrets in Standard that are clearly better just seems wrong.

Can’t have everything at the same time. The same way it happened now, when mage gets secret support in the future, hunter could be in the mud regarding its secret deck.

I doubt it, and these Secrets will always exist in Wild, so for me the damage is done, unless they nerf the hunter cards and buff the mage ones:)

The damage is done in standard as well. It dilutes the discover pool, and the discover pool for that 2 mana card that discovers a secret they printed this expansion.

Well, the cards that Hunter got seem way too good.
If mage had a card that plays two secrets, even for three mana after being forged?
I feel confident saying players would complain.

I think it had this type of card?
That corrupt card?

It had the darkmoon faire card. is that what you mean?

Yeah, looked it up, Ring Toss.
Of course, it’s slower than the forged card but it got printed at a different time. It makes sense that the longer support for a wild deck goes, the weaker it’ll be.

It makes sense now, that if mage get secret support it’ll be better than hunter’s.

Yeah, the forged card seems way better to me.

Well, it is. But keep in mind it casts 2 mana secrets. Ring Toss casts 3-costs.

but the 2 mana secrets it casts are better than the 3 mana secrets mage casts lol.

Well, I have gnawed this topic to it’s bone.
I’ll let Ry, or Shy, or one of the other master teachers here slap down all my arguments.
Thanks for the conversation.

I wonder what would happen if they made all secrets cost 2 mana (and rebalance any of them accordingly). Because originally it was 1 2 3 for paladin hunter mage, then they added secrets for rogue and they chose 2 mana. So 2 mana must offer the most balance/flexibility for secrets. So now Paladin has 2 mana secret Noble Sacrifice, which summons a 4/2 defender. Or Mage has Ice Block, 2 mana if, prevent the first instance of lethal damage.

Mallenroh, you say Bait and Switch would be OP if Mage got it with Orion, but Mage has Splitting Image. Have you tried that with Orion? It makes two Orions. Pretty fun.

No they are not. I just explained to you ehy they are worth exactly 2 mana. Bait and switch is 2 mana is a +3/+3 on a minion where a standard buff spell gives +2/3, so in essence you get +1 attack more for not being able to control on what minion it will get played and you can’t usebthis buff immediately to hit face. Do you understand why at 3 mana it would be the worst possible buff in the game and totally unplayable or you’re just dumb?

You just comparing hunter secrets to the worst nage secrets, and what you need to do is compere their effects to similar non secret cards.

If you have ever actually used bait and switch you would know it is far more than a “+1 attack better mark of the wild” in many ways.

In which ways dude? Its worse than a normal buff spell because it can’t be used to buff a minion going face. So it’s worse because you can’t control on which minion you gonna play it and lastly it’s worse because ot can be play around and if it won’t Trigger the next turn you just lost 2 mana on no tempo.

That’s why it gets that +1 attack.

You d10 trolls need to learn basic concepts of this game like tempo before you start commenting on how the balance should work because your takes are so embarrassing.

i’m glad objection is gone, top 10 most anti fun cards.

This is actually a really cool idea and could perhaps flush out the classes more and give them their own identity as opposed to just Blizzard making copy and discover cards over and over and over again.
