Like, what is this all even about? How is it connected to anything in the Warcraft universe? Why should I get excited about crafting a card with a rose ponytail or a bunch of presents? I feel like sometimes developers forget they are making games for players and not themselves.
I’m genuinely perplexed by the direction Hearthstone is taking with its themes. I’m yearning for something more serious and thoughtful, something that resonates with the rich lore of Warcraft.
I truly wish the game would reach its 20th anniversary. But personally, if we continue to see a couple more expansions like “Whizbands,” I might reach my limit.
