I have been coming up against Prince Renethal and I lose every single time no matter what deck I use. So, I guess I have to join in and get the card but I can’t seem to get him no matter how many decks I buy.
What am I doing wrong?
You must buy 1 Murder at Castle Nathria card pack and then go to the open packs menu. Then you will recieve the card.

You really don’t need this card you just need to play better.
Renathal almost always makes decks worse.
If I could remove any card for the game permanently, Renathal would be my #1 pick.

Unless you play any control deck then the 40 health is required. Especially in wild play.

No, it really isn’t.
It just seems that way because you get one more turn before you die if you’re lucky.
Renathal is the single worst card ever put in this game and the sooner they ban it permanently, the better the game play will be. Stupid thing is still in 1/3 of decks in wild. They can’t ban it fast enough.

Did you set the filter in your collection to Wild? The card is no longer in Standard.

You don’t understand how having uneven life totals is unfair?
They literally balance BGs by manipulating starting health for heros.
Everyone should always stat with the same life totals in constructed.
It’s a card that wastes everyone’s time and should have never been printed. It’s not even a drawback in wild in many cases, it’s just extra life points.

I’m pretty ambivalent about the card. Sometimes it’s got a use, most times not so much.

I am flat sick of seeing to the point there are days I just quit the game and walk away because every damn deck runs this damn thing.
I played a game this morning where my opponent played Reno Jackson three times and still lost with 40 health. It would have saved both of us five to ten minutes if I just killed him the first time because it was over before it started - his homebrew XL highlander quest priest deck was a joke before he even got in the queue… but I still have to kill it four times.
If this was once in a while, fine, but it’s more than half my games in wild. It’s sooooo annoying.

You never mentionned fairness, only powerlevel
If you want fairness there should be a single class in the game and a single hero in battlegrounds, because it’s not fair that not all classes have access to everything, following your logic that a downside doesn’t balance an upside
You said yourself that the card only makes the deck worse
If the deck is worse then it’s faster to kill
If I were to play a deck with 10 single target removals, 10 aoes and 10 heals, it would take ages for my opponent to win, but they would win eventually
Should they ban those cards because I can use them to waste people’s time ?

I didn’t call it powered or underpowered.
I didn’t say it was faster to kill, I said it made the deck lose more.
It’s about the burst damage needed to be done with the game, and Renathal amped that up to 11. People are still complaining about how fast the game is, well your boy Renathal bears a big part of the responsibility for the current state of affairs.
I think your inability to understand basic English is sad.
