How to fix the imbalance of this game

One : trash the current game, and treat it like it had bed bugs

Two: give every class one archtype with full support (e.g death knight, and demon hunter when they first arrived) per expansion.

Two A: mini set will show a preview of the next archtype

The reason behind one archtype per class/ expansion, is that in this game naturally goes this route once the “meta” settles, and 70% of players are already netdecking those meta decks. Plus if you played in any hearthstone tournament local, regional national etc. They usually play conquest or whatever its called, and you look at your opponents 3 decks and remove one. As for matchmaking instead of the game (allegedly) choosing the winner, the actual player skill comes in to play.

I await any additions/omittions, trolling and shillings

(this is me being silly you can skip to the next quote if you want)
Well you don’t necesseraly need to trash your bed if it has bed bugs, you can actually get rid of them
And more importantly if your bed has bed bugs, the bed is not the only problem

As much as I like the idea (Blizzard loves to dump a few cards for an archetype and never push it further that’s so frustrating),
what’s your take on flexibility for classes ? Does that mean one class can only be aggro, or only control, or only whatever, for a given expansion ?
How do you mix each expansions together if they don’t support eachother ?

“Two”
How is this a good idea ? Your current deck has a strong synergy because it is a single archetype and you want to introduce cards for a different archetype with no support ? Your miniset will just be useless until the next expansion arrives which is the exact opposite of what it should be
And most likely if each class only has a single archetype you will emphasize the rock/paper/scissors of the game if one class can only do a specific thing that another class specificly counters

Don’t take it wrong though I’d really like the idea to have archetypes strongly pushed forwards, but not only expansion per expansion

Isn’t the meta settled yet ? Because I see multiple archetypes being played in standard for several class
Hunter has arcane and “Hound”, apparently also has a secret archetype
Paladin has pure and apparently some aggro stuff
Warlock has curse, undead, control
Druid has otk, treant, combo with drum circle
Mage has rainbow and naga
I’m not doing every class and every archetype but you have multiples played rn. Not all will be good but you will never have a meta will all decks being good.

Conquest : you have to win with each of your decks
King of the Hill : you have to “kill” each deck of your opponent
In KotH you can highroll with a single deck whereas conquest you need to get a win with each deck
The fact that you can bann a deck from your opponent is not bound to these rules, it’s a seperated one for the format of the tournament

I don’t understand how this is related to the main topic though

If this can be related I’d like to remember to people that Specialist format has existed in tournaments and it was the worst format they ever used

I don’t trust Blizzard’s ability to create good archetypes. If classes archetype does not work it will be unplayable for a long time. This is happening to death knight. Also it took several expansions to get arcane hunter working.

Conquest was god awful. You really want players to focus more on countering decks than just playing?
Counter deck metas suck.

Good ideas, but we still like to play the game with all the flavor and don’t want it thrown away like trash. We want Blizzard to LIFT Hearthstone from the dumb they placed it in with COMPREHENSIVE BALANCE CHANGES! COMPREHENSIVE BALANCE CHANGES! COMPREHENSIVE BALANCE CHANGES! COMPREHENSIVE BALANCE CHANGES! COMPREHENSIVE BALANCE CHANGES! COMPREHENSIVE BALANCE CHANGES!
