Tekken was always better anyway.
Yep.
Yep.
Um, no. This is the opposite of true. A single win when youâre near the middle of the bell curve means that you move in percentile a LOT more than when youâre near the tails of the bell curve. This means that, if youâre near the median, then a SINGLE win or loss will put you in a different matchmaking group.
Conversely, if youâre near the maximum or minimum for MMR, then itâs likely that a single win or loss will NOT put you in a different matchmaking group, because your percentile will not change much as a result from their MMR adjustment. For example, the top 1% of MMR in solo Battlegrounds is 8300 to 13000 currently. For all practical purposes, once youâre over 8k you are being matched against all the top players, and the slow climb of 5k points past that doesnât change your matchmaking at all.
In Ranked, Diamond rank is approximately median. Top Legend is in a tail.
This depends. If both players started at a very high or very low MMR, then yes, theyâd still be in the same matchmaking group. If both players started with a near-median MMR, then no.
Tekken was always better anyway.
Hard disagree here, Tekken 8 might be on top right now but it also had its fair share of low points in the past.
The only other time in the past i remember Tekken at the top of the fighting game genre was with Tekken 3.
Yup, Tekken 3 and the Original Killer Instinct. MK 3 was pretty good as well. All in the Arcade of course.
