So I was checking my Blizzard Account and calculated that I spent $1,124.15 (CAD) over the span of 5 years. I began playing Heartstone in Summer of 2016. I’m thinking of buying the mega bundle, but hesitant If it’s worth spending again so I got curious on how much money I spent in this game already. How much money have you guys spent on Hearthstone from the time you start playing? I’m curious if there’s more people that spent a lot of money over this game…hmmm…
How did you calculate your own spending? Just curious because I have no idea how much I have spent tbh.
If I had to guess, probably around that same amount plus or minus $200 over the past 6 years.

I’ve spent a lot more than I’d like to admit in the last year or so of playing. Perhaps, not quite at your level, but if I were to wager a bet it’d be around $500.

I just manually calculated and add up each prices haha. I know it take sometime, but I’m very curious to find out lol
Way too much and too often, and then I regret it in moments where I feel like Blizzard didn’t deserve it.

I added it up and it is between $1800 and $1900.
I realized halfway through that I was adding the tax and shouldn’t have been so I got a rough estimate of $1850 or so. First payment in 2012. Edit: first payment was 2014…2012 was diablo 3.
Will probably hit the $2k mark by summer.

wow, now i felt a sense of relief lol! Now i know i’m not the only one. I supposed it’s because you started playing earlier than me. I bought packs due to the fact that I wanted to get the essential legendary cards. Seems empty when I’m missing legendary cards back then lol

But now I am thinking seriously about buying once in a while the Tavern Pass.

I spent all of my kids college funds, then I mortgaged both of my houses, after that I borrow money from shady loan sharks that live in Jersey, and currently I now do special favors in the alley behind Wal-Mart during the hours of 11p to 3a.

I have been playing since 2014 when it was released. I have pretty much every Mega and Regular Bundle, Expansion, Skin, Seasonal Packs etc. It runs into several £1000 - but I always considered myself a collector and it was my main hobby. After Blizzard totally made the Classic Set useless in Standard ( I have a complete Golden Set) I vowed not to spend any more. I haven’t bought the ‘Three Kingdoms’ hero skins, ‘Valeera Bundle’ or ‘Forged in The Barrens’ so hopefully I’ve broken the spend cycle - saved £145 so far that I would have spent into a savings account, and am becoming a ‘free 2 play’ player from here on.
About $200 I was going to spend $75 a year, but somehow I stopped?
I’m probably not spending anymore.
About $40 or $45 total so far for Naxrammas and League of Heroes solo adventures, both were somewhat worth the cost. It’s going up by about $20 for the next Tavern Pass. I definitely want the new female priest hero, and the female warrior hero could be good too. All the rest with the paid track is a bonus.
