got 2 gig per month with at and t plan…how much data hs uses
It’s quite low. From a quick google, a rough consensus is around 2MB per hour.
This can vary due to game length. Remember, all the asset data (graphics, sounds, etc) are on your device. The only thing that are sent and received are data about what your actions are.
According to google, at 2MB/hour, even if you played 24/7, you still wouldn’t reach your monthly data cap of 2GB.
(2 GB) / (2 (MB per hour)) =
41.6666667 days

Updates, and the initial install are both large. I’d recommend doing using a network where you are less data limited (wifi, somewhere).

Thanks Erd. I probably should have mentioned that.
Updates can be quite large, 200-800MB.
On my pre-paid plan, I have 100MB and then I purchase another 500MB. I rarely blow past this unless I am downloading Updates.
If you’re on a mobile network, Hearthstone will typically warn you before trying to download updates.
Also note, after an update, Hearthstone will want to download in-game assets while playing. You can configure how they’re downloaded in the Options menu. These assets are usually higher quality and animated card visuals and sometimes audio. Hearthstone is completely playable without having to download these assets.
