I currently have 33 free entries to the Arena, but the mode doesn’t interest me at all so I’ve just been saving them.
I know Arena isn’t terribly popular so I was curious how many you guys had saved, if any.

I not only dont save any, but I don’t even play them, I create the deck and press retire to go 0-0

Thank you for the advice. I was hoping they would be able to be used for a mode I enjoy, but at this point I don’t see a reason not to cash them in.
Not playing the free ones as a F2P player for optimizing F2P value is silly. They keep giving value and it’s generally significant value even from ~2 wins since they’re free anyway and they give more than 1 pack in rewards at that point; if you leave 2 losses open the ticket is not even spent and you get the rewards and a free ticket at next release/major patch of new cards; in fact it’s so valuable to do that that I actually spent 150 gold when I mistakenly used all the tickets.
And it’s generally good gameplay too though; it’s the Standard cards and if you know how to play the Standard cards then you should be able to play it well and it has interesting combos like this patch you get ANY other class as a second (it’s basically like having a “Tourist” for ALL cards); I start doubting if anyone is deeply interested in Standard and not liking Arena at all.

Read the last paragraph. I know that reading the whole message in a gaming forum is not very usual.
You implied it’s a waste of time. I said I find it good gameplay. And frankly if someone is deeply interested in the cards of Standard and has 0 interest in Arena there’s something suss about it; they’re the same cards; it has some interesting gameplay combos (e.g. this patch you get a “Tourist” 2nd class and you can find ALL their cards).

Yeah but that’s irrelevant in this context, assuming you like a Format, because by that logic any Format in the game would be “non-free”; I get that argument if it’s annoying to play a Format; I personally find ALL 3 main Formats of the game (Standard/BGs/Arena) to be interesting and diverse enough between them and I actually rotate through them now (even though I give more weight to Standard and if I run out of tickets I don’t play Arena because I try to optimize F2P card collecting).
You are assuming wrong.
As you mentioned, in this context, where OP doesn’t actually enjoy the format, it becomes a chore to play it out.

I don’t know how you play arenas but apparently, from what I just read, you can win cards (if you win ?).
How does it work exactly ?

You earn 1 pack, and maybe some dust, for each ticket or entry even if you end: 0-3 or 0-0…

I usually draft a deck and forget to play it until rotation when i get a free ticket and rewards. I can’t tell how many tickets I currently have

I have over 1000 tavern tickets because I have dozens of free to play accounts I used to go infinite arena with every expansion I would make an arena run and get some wins wait to get 2 losses then move to Europe, then to Asia, then to another account for the same thing, I stopped recently though it’s too much work and I will never be able to play enough arena runs to exhaust all my tickets so it’s whatever
I use them all except one and retire instantly for the free pack. I always have 1 left to get the freebie when it gets reset. Once i get another 3 on the track, I insta use them up.
