Yes. I find it hard to believe anyone having a deep love for Standard and having no love at all for Arena. The cards are practically the same; it has some interesting variations even though it’s obviously more chaotic; e.g. this month you pick 2 classes at the same time and get hilariously-OP combinations like a Warrior with Priest cards copying the Warrior’s taunt minions.

There’s nothing suss about it. Arena used to be great, and I used to play it with almost 7.0 wins per run, but now it’s a disaster where you most likely play against barcode accounts + one game lasts for 40 minutes (or at least it did 2 expansions ago when I finally gave up wasting time on it)

It’s called “Dual Class Arena” and it’s as old as game, almost

Got any source of that other than posts of players whining? The last post I read “about it” here was someone complaining they had barcodes because the names were with chinese characters, which is at best dumb and at worst racist.

It’s been like that since Chinese server got shut down and even when it re-opens, not all of them will probably go back to their original server

As long as bots exist in this game, you know arena isn’t fixed yet. Their only purpose in Hearthstone is to farm gold for 1 perfect arena run, and then get sold to the highest bidder.

And you know they’re criminals and not just players, … because?

Because they’re chinese and not from Murica?

I mean I guess you can’t be sure, but there are tells

In any case, you know it’s still like that if you’re used to averaging 6-7 wins and now suddenly you finish 1/3, 2/3 all the time

It’s natural that people get lucky with draft now and then, but almost every chinese or random bot name having it against you every arena run? What more do you need to stop wasting gold on that? (I know this thread is about free tickets, I’m just saying in general now)

We’ll know when the issue is solved, pretty quickly. Blizzard will stop banning 200k bots per day and happy players who hit 10-12 wins with mediocre decks will spread the information when they realize it’s solved.

Unfortunately, it’s not going to be soon.

Even if they exist, I doubt it’s the chinese names. If chinese criminals wanted to do it they would probably use very blatantly western-sounding names to “fit in”; they would have to sell them later; if they keep the names for the buyers it helps there too because they usually do those scams for westerners to buy.

i normally play them out leaving just one with 2 losses so it rolls over and gives a free ticket
