How exactly the REROLL feature works?

Hey folks!

Let me go straight to the point. I’m surfing through the Blizzard blog, forum, and Reddit for around 2 hours already, and still can’t understand WHY I’m not prompted to reroll cards anymore? It worked for the first two days after the DK expansion release.

Now, I have a good dozen of disenchantable cards, both normal and golden versions, and not prompted to reroll them. Here are some examples:

  • Lingering Zombie: 2 Normal, 1 Golden
  • Arcane Wyrm: 2 Normal, 1 Golden
  • Sanguine Soldier: 1 Normal, 1 Golden
  • For Quel’Thalas!: 2 Normal, 1 Golden
  • Rotten Rodent: 4 Normal, 2 Golden
  • Silvermoon Arcanist: 2 Normal, 2 Golden
  • Arcsplitter: 2 Normal, 2 Signature
  • Shadow Suffusion: 2 normal, 2 Golden
  • Prescience: 2 Normal, 1 Golden
  • Corpse Explosion: 2 normal, 1 Golden
    ETC, ETC, ETC

Should I disenchant extra copies, as usual?

the reroll option is only for signature cards, and disenchantable golden cards from the rewards track. hope that helps.

I don’t believe they are only for signature cards. When I’ve gotten golden cards of cards that were in my collection, the game has prompted a popup asking if I wanted to reroll the regular version into another common card or whatever the rarity’s was.

with respect you didn’t read the second part of my post…

if your experience has differed beyond this, I don’t know, because it’s not supposed to do that.

Even when I have received cards that were in packs that I had opened up, if I received a golden card for a card that was already in my collection it would prompt me. From packs from this expansion only.

When I Purchased the Diamond version of Lady Deathwhisper, it also prompted me to reroll the regulars version of the card into another Legendary for this expansion.

the diamond purchase should’ve offered reroll…the rest i have no explanation for. this hasn’t happened to me, and shouldn’t by my understanding of how it’s supposed to work.
to be clear, i believe you. it just isn’t how i’ve seen it work.

Hmm…
at the very least, this reroll feature should be communicated better. I also remember that I was prompted to reroll some cards when I was opening packs but now I’m not sure if I owned those cards because they were on the REwards Track…

Maybe Lady Deathwhisper could be rerolled since you purchased it as a part of a mega bundle, so it counts

I don’t know, but it happened to me. I was surprised that it asked me to reroll lady Deathwhisper. Each time though, I would decline as I have all the cards, so it would just reroll into something I already have. So it just annoyed me each time it would prompt me to reroll.

i have no explanation. i’m still 5 legends from a full set. so maybe that’s the difference.

Rerolls are only for the same rarity. I didn’t check every card on your list, but the ones I did check were commons. So, it is possible that re-rolls are only for rare and up.

I have never had the option to re-roll something I get from a pack.

As far as I know reroll only works on cards you receive as a reward, from rewards track, from achievements etc. anything that says here is this specific card.
