How does sending packs to friends work?

I want to buy 80 packs but i want to beable to split the packs with a friend

Unfortunately, cards purchased on one account cannot be split. :slightly_frowning_face:

What is permissible is that someone spends real money to purchase one of the items from the Hearthstone store marked as gifting-enabled: pre-purchase bundles, Standard card packs, the Welcome Bundle, and alternate heroes.

The easiest way to send a gift a player is to open the store (the Blizzard App allows easy access), select an item for purchase, click or tap the “Gift” button or icon, then choose the BattleTag of the friend to whom you wish to gift that item.

That means that you can buy yourself and/or your friend the pre-order, but you cannot buy on one account and split the packs with them.

There is a option when you play against each other in a friendly match that your friend can use the decks you have in your collection.

Sounds like you want to split your preorder. That’s not possible.

You can gift your friend cards (including a preorder), but you have to be friends for 3 days before you can gift.
