Horizon's edge a bit too much in standard?

4 mana, 5 charges, 3 damage per charge, and DK ability to summon rush minions and die. AND can have 2 of them?!

that is a ton of board clearing and/or hero damage done.

more mana cost? less charges? just wondering.

Really powerful card but the decks it belongs in are underperforming. DK has two other decks right now that don’t even bother with Horizon’s Edge and both have higher winrates.

Man I wish I had Darius crowley as a playable character/class again. I miss being able to aim the cannon instead of all these “deal random scatter damage” locations.

Maybe only in the total meta (which is the most important I admit). Against specific decks it’s devastating, mainly whatever relies on a wide board of low hp minions.

They really need to make a card that can destroy locations

Wait

They did

Sure, with the caveat that you’re TECHING, and teching is a double edged sword; it plummets your expected win rate against decks that can’t be attacked by the tech cards; In my opinion tech cards are more useful to the top 50 of Legend where everyone plays with the same people and they know what to expect unless it’s an extreme situation of a 60% overplayed meta like the Shopper DH when people actually were successful teching against it (mainly with DK speak of the devil).

Except you can put 3 tech cards inside the etc to make sure you are good to go no matter what

Weapon removal
Location removal
Mind control tech

That makes etc into a tech card so the concept remains.

At least its more useful than just 1 niche card

Ehh mind control is a single target save, I prefer whatever Dreamplanner Zephrys gives me for the board removal.
Weapon and location counter sounds fair for standard. I refuse to go into wild without at least one platebreaker on every ETC I own.
