The main chemical involved for the physical part of nicotine addiction, is dopamine. Google what legal substances make the brain secrete it.
PS I wonder if it’s related to some people playing ~24/7,
seeking for that dopamine fix.

No, it is not. Dopamine is responsible for the psychological part of the addiction. We don’t yet fully know the pathways responsible for the physical part of nicotine addiction, but they involve adrenaline and some lesser known chemicals related to memory functioning and metabolism.
I don’t have to, I’ve been researching this for years.
Dopamine is naturally secreted during sleep, self-pleasure, physical activity (running, walking, lifting), listening to music, petting, food, meditating (which for different people means different things).
Basically, everything we do secretes dopamine, which is why in essence, everything is addiction. We need sex for reproduction (well, at least at the moment we do, but not for long), but we can also get addicted to sex. We need food to stay alive, but we can also get addicted to food.
And since everything is addiction, and some things we need to even stay alive, that makes the addiction argument useless and completely wrong. It’s possible to be addicted to the very thing which keeps you alive.
It is, but not directly. There are disorders in the background which mediate the connection, namely ADHD and reward system hypersensitivity (including range of disorders such as lack of dopamine receptors, surpluss of dopamine secretion, lack of vitamin D or enzymes…)
I cannot stress this enough. No matter who you are, you do not have the knowledge to discuss things of this sort with me. It’s my literal life.
Just play Armor Druid. 100 damage is nothing against 1000000 armor.
Nicotine is one of the most addictive substances known because the primary molecule is chemically similar enough to acetylcholine (ACh) that it passes through the blood-brain barrier unchanged and bonds to acetylcholine receptors in the brain. There are a whole bunch of things affected, including memory, concentration, arousal, intestinal secretions, and more.
Just add one sentence “Draw a card and deal damage to random enemy equal to its Cost”
Nearly impossible to complete Druid Armor combo by turn 4 or 5 while Paladin can do easily 100hp damage straight on your face by turn 4/5
How is Paladin casting 7 mana worth of stuff on turn 4/5? If you aren’t playing Order in the Court and Holy Wrath on the same turn you would Draw Ceaseless Expanse before you can Holy Wrath it to the face. What is Paladin doing that reduces the costs of Order in the Court and/or Holy Wrath on turns 1-3 or boosting them to 7 mana on turn 4/5?
Very easy.
You can reduce cost of your Holy Wrath by playing Holy Cowboy or Sea Shill in turn 3, with the coin you can play your combo on turn 4 (no coin by turn 5).
This is how I’ve completed the combo in most cases, but yes you need to have Order in the Court and Holy Wrath in your hand.
substances ? the brain does that for everything you enjoy
can include running or listening to music
It’s banned in wild now so your opinion doesn’t matter.
This is shocking. I figured they would do what they normally do and make it 101 mana.
So we can ban the 100 to the face on turn 5 WILD so quickly but the turn 5 dump your deck for 58 Quazar in STANDARD is ok
Wild is a cesspool, let it rot in it’s own filth.
my favorite part is that we said this combo would be a thing before they released the expansion
I dont think anyone predicted it being quite so consistent and quick, but I could be wrong. It was definitely spotted during reveals by wild regulars though.
To be fair if they really meant to fix the card they would change order in court instead.
Draw randoness is part of a card game and rig your deck since turn 2 always was problematic since it was introduced.
I think it was fine after the nerf, honestly. It hasn’t been a menace in wild until it became an otk.
It was revert for wild and even nowadays no nerf would work.
Like…
Blizzard would need to just never release big cost cards again for the 3 mana with 1 draw version work.
That to not even talk that the card violates the most basic rule of card games, random card draw.
When you do it early in the game even if not on a OTK deck you’re playing the same game again and again.
Of course people will not necessarilly want it nerfed when not on a OTK but good for the game for sure it isn’t.
Dopamine is literally a chemical secreted by the brain like some kind of drug of sorts. You talk as if psychology is some kind of abstract religious experience; yes some disciplines may call these psychological effects too; but the source is purely physical here if the person is dopamine addicted.
I have personal experience on those things too; but I guess only your experience matters according to you; so you won’t accept help.
That’s not good enough for the heavily dopamine addicted. You can accelerate it on purpose controllable-y. Better than accelerating with nicotine at least.
