Heroes you immediately concede to!

Just wondering if there are hero’s you immediately concede to? I always immediately concede to rouge at the moment (which becomes tedious when nearly 50% of the games I queue into are rogues) ! I find literally no fun or enjoyment in playing them (probably because I feel the class feels quite broken at the moment)!

Also anyone else completely sick of Leeroy Jenkins? Currently it’s in Rogue, Paladin, Warlock, Druid and Hunter! It makes the games feel so dull and predictable when they all finish the same way, Leeroy to face!

You concede to all of those but not priest?

Priest and mage make for some super long games if I don’t have an aggressive starting hand. If they play obelisk and I’m not able to pull off 10+ damage on turn 4, I concede. They will start dropping Waterbearer that heals 5 or every turn and are 5/5. They shouldn’t be healing in the same turn they are played because that’s insane tempo and it’s pretty much game game over at that point. (Most heal at the start of the next turn or need to be triggered)

Playing 15 turns before finally being handed the inevitable loss is the opposite of fun

I just had someone concede so very fast, that the battle didn’t even just start like what happened! :upside_down_face:

What happened is they were disconnected during the match load.

I insta concede to priests.

Occasionally (depending on the mood) I concede to Golden hunters because I know for a fact that the person playing a golden hunter, esp if they have a Legendary cardback, is looking for a serious game that I simply cannot offer.

If I’m at a rank floor, I always concede to Hunter. I play slower Warlock decks 95% of the time, and I almost never survive to turn 8 when facing them.

If I’m nearing the next rank, I just grin and bear my punishment. I also often auto concede to Galakrond Warriors. I beat the hell out of Priests though, so I guess I’m doing the Lord’s work on ladder.

I’ll add another one to the list; by turn 3, I’m usually well aware of my demise against a mech Paladin. Just had one with a 2/5 with divine shield on turn two.

People know its a game of Rock Paper Scissors. No need to play out the same match over and over and over again. All the cards are going to be the same.

Welcome to Rougestone this days

It’s not so much a class I autoconcede to and more a mechanic. Certain classes have a propensity to have more contentious mechanics so in that sense those classes are persona non grata. Some of my primary autoconcedes include any deck that manipulates my deck or copies, steals or transforms my cards (Priest, Rogue, Mage), straight burn decks (predominantly Mage), and decks that benefit off of what I call cookie-cutter aggro (mechs, murlocs, and to a lesser extent beasts). I also mostly avoid any decks that start with a quest, not so much because they are difficult to win against, but because they are all predictable and quite frankly, boring to play against. It’s a mixed bag for sure but guaranteed if someone drops a Gnomeferatu or Rin the Disciple, plays Entomb/Mind Control/Mind Control Expert, Darkness, Academic Espionage, the game is over before it begins. I simply haven’t the time nor the patience to be trolled while playing, either through roping or contentious mechanics, and to play against them win or lose makes for an aggravating hassle instead of an enjoyable experience. Probably why I’ve confined myself to Wild Casual since Whispers. I love to build new, original decks and I use concede as a filter for who and what I play against.

It used to be rogue, but I haven’t opened the client since I started playing BDO. I’ll probably play HS when I get bored. I previously took a 6 month break last year and honestly didn’t miss much when I came back. Same %$#^ different day.

pointless autoconcede when RNG avilable …ppl say game not rigged but is it you vs same class sometime very highroll and beat it other time you lose lose …i think doesent matter what deck you play is all about you have luck and start good draw right card or some garbage hand whit fail draw enemy counter everything

That’s why all decks have strictly 100% or 0% winrate against all other decks, right?

I’ve been playing Combo Priest, because screw the meta, and I’ve had at least 3 people instantly concede, I’m guessing because they thought I was playing ressurect.

Only against priest. And depending on my mood I might give it a couple of turns.

  • Checking if my draw is Godlike.
  • Checking if his draw is crap.
  • Checking if he’s playing something fresh or IF-deck, so I might have a fun/interesting game.

If the mood is bad, it’s always instant concede. Here, take the win priest, now please go away.

Priest, Hunter, Priest, Sometimes Rogue if they play that easy quest. I have better things to do than get frustrated engaging in a hobby that is supposed to be fun because someone else wants to be a prick.

Nope.

I might do an early concede if I see that their first couple of turns indicate a strategy that my current deck can’t handle or that I find unfun to play against. Unless it’s a slow strategy and I have a “Play X cards of type Y”, “Draw X cards” or “Play X turns” type of quest I want to clear.

If you auto concede to any hero it might be time to take a break or play wild if standard gameplay is too predictable. Since I’ve been back I havent auto conceded to any deck in game… I guess I only play 4 or 5 games a day though so most my games I’m climbing ranks or trying to “get dat gold”!

I never concede until all options have been used. If you concede at the start of the game, you will obviously lose stars AND you will get less experience in playing against decks you do not like. Which in the end will make it more difficult for you to learn new strategies and climb ladder(if you play ladder).

Imagine if sports teams conceded at the start of a game? Makes no sense does it?

Never concede at the start of the game, does you no good.

Whenever I encounter a class/deck that has a winrate against any given class/deck I am playing of 55% or greater, i consider that to be auto-concede territory. I just skip straight to the wins.
