I am trying to defeat cenarius. I have tried fifty times and can’t get him. What can I Do to beat him?
Can I buy card packs for Outlands and use them in the prologue?
Prologue games use pre-built decks, so no. As for beating Cenarius, there’s one turn where he does a big swing turn and summons a ton of minions. Save your AOE for that. Other than that, don’t try to burn him down, but rather try to run him out of resources.
Personally my winning strategy was making full use of uhh whichever that satyr card that summons 2/2 satyrs whenever you attack. I flooded the board w those in just a few turns and quickly finished the match.
I dont remember it to be hard. I think I did it on my first time.
For sure there is a video on youtube were you can see how people is managing their cards.
My Problem is that many people write about how to do this and always talk about the same trick:
Don’t let him overwhelm you until you have the satyr + glaives combo.
Problem is, the fastest moment I can have this combo is in the turn, when I have 7 crystals. Problem is at that point, if I make haste Mr Shadowsong get’s like 12/12 and taunt. I can’t attack him without dying.
So I dont get the glaive then and clean the board. Just to run in at least 1 Urtum or a hero with stats of at least 5/7 and taunt that kills me. So no small creatures or Cenarius to attack (and survive to create the 4 satyrs - as thats the max before the weapon is gone).
I asked someone who did it, to show me a replay (was from back in April) and the glaives are just 5 energy there and some other cards were way better, then they are now (less cost, more damage, etc.)
So my question is: Was there an update to these cards, made the fight a frustrating mess?
BTW the life stealing blade some were talking about never appeared to me in the last 15 tries.
Still can’t beat beginner content? I bet you also can’t beat the intro missions first try? Learn CCG first.
A lot of these cards were nerfed over the course of the expansion, which apparently means the intro cards were nerfed as well.
