If emoting was taken out of the game, the act of taking emotes out would be removing a lot of communicating for what is Hearthstone.
(I think the Hearthstone developers take on this ideology for a way of communicating with their players, including but not limited to, having no direct feedback given to and from players and developers, like a “I do what I do, and you do what you do” sort of mentality.)
