Hearthstone Muslim Togetherness Thread

No i didnt. I asked you what varying view points you are talking about, that prompts an open, intelligent discussion about LGBT and the demonstration.

You did not answer me, it was someone else.

And you did say exatly that. Here is your own quote:
This isnt a political subject. Discrimination isnt up for a political debate.
And of course it is up for depate. For example what action are discrimination and what are not.

Opinions is just that. Opinions. Claims without evidence, can be dismissed without evidence. Claims need to be substantiated. When you argue: “one could just call yourself a woman, then enter a woman contest, and win it”, then thats an unsubstantiated claim, a strawman argument.

Thats what i mean. You just say “Strawman” and ignore the real argument i made.
I never claimed, that i can say “i am a woman now” and compete against woman, i just asked if it would be ok.
The first argument i brought up was, that transgender have an advantage over born female, so why is it fair, that transgender can compete against born females.
You can find dozens of examples by just googling things like “man wins women’s tournament”. That is reality

Allthough you seem to think churches, that offer public services, who are exempt from taxes, can do just that.

Well they can and do in a lot of places. But i dont know why you bring that up. I am not supporting that behavior of the church, i just pointed it out. And explained that people might feel discriminated, if they are forced to do something, that is against their believes.

And with that we would be back at “Discrimination isnt up for a political debate”
You would say same sex marriage is not discriminating against people of that church, even if their religion forbids same sex marriage. People who are part of that church would beg to differ. Who is in the right? Well, that is something one could discuss about

And one last thing. This is not meant to be an insult or somthing. But if we now go again to “This is just a Strawman” without talking about the arguments made, i will just not answer anymore. I hope you understand

no one performs gender reassignment surgery on children

these types of anti-trans rants are what drives trans people to suicide. depression isn’t inherent to being trans, but it’s obvious that we aren’t accepted when people act like their children shouldn’t be exposed to us

Well that’s the whole point

“Yet” and it doesn’t mean it hasn’t been requested, but even with surgery aside it seems you have your head in the right direction but there still are hormones, puberty, blockers, and other such pharmaceutical methods and these kids that are well kids are little sponges. It’s not that a child shouldn’t be exposed to trans people but A. A parents consent needs to be considered and B. Ultimately a parent probably should be present and be giving feedback. Also no one wants you to hurt your self so please please don’t even try it.

I’d like to add something that I thought of after my post about your anti trans rant statement. There is always opposition. When push comes to shove you’ll always be faced with push back. Labeling it as anti trans doesn’t mean people are anti trans. Many of us are pro trans but feel it’s much more of an adult topic and a thing best left to do at a mature adult age. Some my challenge an adult to some degree but you should welcome that challenge if you or whom ever feels they’re trans as it either walks you bad from a bad decision or pushes you forward as it solidifies your original position. Think about that. Ultimately most of us only want what’s best for adults and try and leave kids out of it as best as possible.

Don’t tell me not to hurt myself, I wasn’t even suggesting I would, and you obviously don’t care about me or trans people in general anyway or you wouldn’t say the things you do. I don’t know how to make you understand and I’m not going to try any longer because talking to you is like talking to my conservative cousin, just speaks in circles and doesn’t actually listen.

You seriously have me concerned. You attack me and you don’t even know me. You take my words as if they’re intended to cause you emotional harm when they aren’t. I will challenge you. I will defend my position but I do not hate you or want you harmed. I’m glad to hear you don’t want to hurt yourself but you could use a little professional help.

Intent is irrelevant when the words are harmful

The last thing my words are are harmful. I have no malice or hate towards you but you seem to do a awful lot of projection.

It’s called victim culture, people love doing that, and whatever you say must have a way to offend them, and thus, dismissing any logical things you say.

Wich is a strawman argument. No one has said it would be okay. You are making a weird imaginary argument, that simply doesnt happen in reality. So why should i answer it?

Doesnt matter if its a church or a business. If they are offering a public service, laws prohibits them from discriminatory behaviour, regardless of their religious views. If the church benefits from society, by being a public service, they must serve all of the public. Or stop being a public service, and do what ever they want.

It isnt. Discrimination is allways wrong. Regardless of what you think counts as discriminatory behaviour. Thinking a public service, for example, should be allowed to discriminate against people, because their religious conviction demands it, or else they are the ones being discriminated against, is a weird argument.

This is back to equal rights. One is either for or against. If someone in the public, is refused a public service, because they are gay, or black, then they by definition doesnt have the same right as someone else.

Im in the right, because churches who have signed a social contract, to be a public service, offer a public service, and gets every benefit that comes with it, must by definition serve all members of said community, including people whos views they dont agree with. But if said business stop being a public service, they can do what ever they want.

Churches in my country, who offer a public service, cant refuse to marry same sex couples. Priests can. But the church can not. They are infact bound by law, to serve all of the public, if they agree to being a public service. They simply cannot discriminate against people. If they want to discriminate against people, they need to stop being a public service. I can create a club, call it a church in my basement, and only allow white people in Charlie Chaplin costumes to enter. Thats fine. But a public service can not.

Public vs Private…

Well for some people, it’s the biggest achievement of their lives, and they just want to feel special about it and draw attention to themselves in everyway possible. Actually, it’s a part of the liberal snowflake mentality, wanting to feel special and above everyone else, while looking down on people claiming moral superiority and the right to teach everyone else what is right and wrong while censoring any disagreement by labeling it as hate speech and utilizing victim mentality.

Its kind of ironic. Since this thread would stay on message, if not for you people, wanting to flood the thread with your ignorant opinions. Every word uttered by me or other “snowflakes” is a response to you intervening, and forcing the thread off topic, thinking you have some sort of moral superiourity, and the right to teach everyone else, what is right or not.

So you basically just described yourself. You played yourself there.

Thanks. Its surely “not mental”. Everything we are is a product of our brain. Surely you are aware of this fact. So the fact that you are attracted to women, or men, is a feature of your brain. The difference is, im not calling your behaviour, a mental illness. And you would be wise to broaden your horizon and stop being a stooge to rediculous conservative, debunked talkingpoints. No im not saying gender dysphoria is the same as sexual orientation. But it surely is “not mental”.

Ofc its a mental condition. Iv allready explained to you, the condition is the disconnect a person feels due to the mismatch between their gender identity, their personal sense of their own gender and their sex assigned at birth.

Gender dysphoria isnt an illness. But the distress from it, is linked to mental health problems. Anxiety, depression etc etc.

Well, the lack of common sense and wisdom is why the world is in it’s current shape. With big technological giants like facebook, google, twitter, etc becoming the thought police and deciding what is right and what is wrong and what should people be thinking, the world has really become a dark place.

The world is moving towards an Orwellian dystopia, where the voice of reason and truth is labelled as hate-speech because someone gets offended by them and obviously feelings matter more. In a time of deceit telling the truth is a revolutionary act. The most effective way to destroy people is to deny and obliterate their own understanding of their history, and this is what happening nowadays. Who controls the past controls the future. Who controls the present controls the past. This is why all of this is so dangerous. They can make you repeat their lies and delusions but they cannot make you believe them, which is why they try to get inside your head. If all people accept a lie that is being imposed, then the lie passes into history and becomes truth.

Here is something I think you might find interesting.

bc it doesn’t. lmfao

Not sure if you are aware of it. But you just denounced the entirety of the religous community, who cuts healthy body parts for the religious amusement of their parents. And here i would actually mostly agree. Not sure if Ben Shapiro would though. Perhaps he is the one needing psychological help? He would probably go “reeeee” if his arguments where used against him.

I really wish blizz could keep the lgbt pride stuff out of our fantasy video games. we hear about it enough in the day to day world
