Pick your card up, the single most simple advice I can give you. Inserting the card once in a while, will give you a rigged luck to win games so that you can insert it again after the rigging expires, and give you some decks which don’t really matter , with the luck papa Blizz will rig your games you will play against noobs all day with nothing but decks that do nothing.

There will be a balance patch this week so a number of the currently strong decks will be nerved.

But you can use sites like these to get an general overview.

Yes wait for the patch notes on Wed, then wait again 1 week, then check hsguru.

The smart answer would be to not hope for anything, and known that anything you pick doesn’t matter…but I would let you experience that on your own skin…My answer was sarcastic but wasn’t far from smart.

I didn’t take the offence in any matter :)…Hope you come back and tell us that you didn’t invest anything in the game and made it top legend rank 5-6

Nah man all good,im hardly gonna hit that but u never know…my question was what to buy expansion and bundles wise anyway,i have a decent idea about the decks since i watch some of the streamers,my interest is in what to purchase from the shop…i even made a mistake by putting on some bnet balance and then realize i cant purchase runestone outside the ingame shop

umm if you want to play standard only then perhaps focus on the 3 most recent expansions… the latest expansion is slightly weak maybe? hard to say I don’t really care too much about balance so it’s hard to give good advice.

Ignore all the other “hints” given. Here’s the most IMPORTANT hint for Hearthstone: Break out your credit card (steal mommy and daddy’s if you have to) and buy, buy, buy, buy, buy packs of the newest expansion (previous goes obsolete once new expacs are out).

BTW Activision; you’re quite welcome for the profit boost.

In case actual children read that, don’t do it. It does not work.

It’s just bad players, who don’t accept sometimes they lose.

Wait for balance patch’s before buying anything in the mean time play Pokemon if you want something fun and balanced.

Excuse me, it does so work. if it didn’t, why does the game accept credit card info? Hmmmmmmmmm?

And this is only said by poor people too poor to buy packs and have to rely on gold accumulation from playing / grinding HOURS/DAYS/WEEKS. Unless you’re Chinese, then it’s your job and you’ve no choice but to grind.

But anyways, kiddos. Credit card purchases are the way to get your packs quick and easy. So buy, buy, BUY

good cards can help but if you don’t know how or when to play them you will not get past gold probably if your lucky

Advices from a free to player person.

  1. Get what ever pack blizzard is offering you for free for not playing for a long time, the one that has the most legendaries.
  2. Try to look for legendaries that are from the set’s that are currently in the format.
  3. This is the most important, wait for the next cycle…When a cycle occurs some expansions are taken off and the next one come, that’s the most important point in time you can start making 1 purchase in a pre-expansion bundle.
  4. Buy the pre-expensaion bundle once. By my calculations a pre-expansion bundle should get you up to speed if you get it on a cycle renew ( which is close, since the year is over and they will start a new cycle probably in march ( I forgot how they count since I do not play anymore), by then you should have some cards to dust off that are no longer played in standard, and again by my calculation the pre-expansion bundle should give if not all most of the new cards…

After that whatever you get from the track, packs, arena, brawls you just dust off, and with the gold you retain from not needing to buy packs because you bought a pre-expansion bundle, you can easily afford like 40-50 packs when the new expansion starts, and with the dust you have you can probably craft whatever you need in the new expansion…After that you just repeat the cycle but you need to play to get as much gold as you can in the next expansions

I did the counter-reversed to what I said since I never paid for anything, I just waited for a cycle, dusted off whatever wasn’t in play in standard and took it from then.
