Over the past year or so (I play intermittently), I experience weird connection issues that not only causes me to have to reconnect to games several times per matches, it actually affects my whole PC, causing the internet to drop out for up to 15-20 seconds, and sometimes requires a restart in order to restore internet. This only happens when I play Hearthstone, and I play a variety of other online multiplayer games in which this is not an issue. I’ve already done light research, and some say that the modem or ISP is to blame, but I have above average internet and a very common provider. Hardware included.
Is anyone else experiencing similar issues or know the cause of this?

Howdy!
The game has no power to disable your internet. If your Internet is dropping this is a major sign of a hardware issue with the modem most likely. This is most common in 2-in-1 modem/routers provided by an Internet Service Provider. You could call the ISP to ask them to hard reset the device, check for firmware updates and set it back up but if the issue continues you should asked for it to be replaced.
Thank you.
I experience the same thing. It literally happens only when playing hearthstone and have never encountered this in 4 years other than hearthstone in last month or so.

Howdy Aerozi,
This is a really old thread but to reiterate, Hearthstone can not disconnect the internet by itself. As Zuvykree mentioned, you should contact your ISP for help with this issue.
