Got similar thoughts while playing Arena. So sad they have removed Duels which were much more enjoyable in general.
Arena has a community of high performers that play and draft well seasons after seasons. Personally, I never retire decks nor pay money for arena. I always play on the same account on the same server and I average 7.5+ wins as per leaderboards. Yes there are still bot accounts and the likes but it’s better to be playing well an average draft than to be playing poorly a lucky draft. It doesn’t mean that it’s easy to achieve and requires no time: by design most players will only average around three wins in arena. However it’s definitely possible to be infinite if you put your mind to it.
I mean , when you can easily go 7 wins on a fresh account while on your main account you constantly go 4 or less wins-3 I think that’s a very good indicator of why it’s a scam
