There’s no way players can take so long to play their netdecks. Every turn rope burn until they make a mediocre decision. I think many game are utilizing bots to hide their low player bases and an opponent who’s taking too much time each turn is an indication.
Why would a bot deliberately wait to finish their turn?
Shorter turns = more games played = more productive bot.
Seriously, it drives me nuts how many players take a full minute even to just play a single card on the first few turns.
Like I understand taking a moment to think about your move but come on. Most of my turns are 5-25 seconds.
I get a sense some of them are tilted. They think they annoy others.
If they weren’t they wouldn’t wait even for the easiest moves.
Probably they alt tabbing, doins something else while playing.
You are 100% correct.
I’m going to be honest here, I don’t play to win any more; it is a pointless exercise even at Bronze 4. As a long-time absent player, you don’t have the cards.
So I build temporary decks to complete quests and experiment with different cards. Chances of winning are minimal, but quests get done quick (3-4 games) and you at least to get to try out some interesting cards.
I get the feeling they’re digging through their deck to get the card that they need. I can’t think of any other reason why you would take almost a minute and a half to play a card that wins you the game
Idk, i just started playing 12 days ago and I just hit plat5 with a homebrew deck. Im ftp aside from the tavern pass.
I think its entirely possible to climb in the lower ranks without a meta deck or alot of card. It’s definitely a pain fighting people with superior decks though.
Seems like alot of people are running that elemental mage deck and that looks very budget friendly.
taking a long time drives people nuts, sometimes they concede, free win
you are allowed to use as much of your turn as you want
