I get it, gotta make that $$ so you can add content and such, dont set us up for failure so that we forced into spending our money. Thats scammin where i come from. From what i have read the L/R/E CARD DROP RATES ARE A JOKE, so spend that money and prepare for disappointment, j/s
Im having fun in game and on these forums.
I had fun also, this seems to be nothing more than disguised gambling, with INCREDIBLY low odds of winning (winning being landing those golden cards). The people that i play, with gold card after gold card, I wonder to myself, how F*N much did you have to swipe, to get THAT deck, in that condition. If its gambling, its rigged and i most certainly am not down.
You know, that crafting a golden whizzbang gives you a deck full of golden cards? The same with the golden reward for purchasing the 5 stages of dalaran heist with either gold or money? All decks, those cards create are not really good.

they are manipulating people with the hero as well, all part of the marketing… which by the way it’s starting to crumble as people starting to realize slowly that it’s not the way anymore.

Weird. I thought winning was when you, you know, won a match.
Not when you use real life money to GAMBLE on cards it’s not. Winning would be landing those golds and purples.

I mean, golds are just asthetic. It’s not necessary to play and is literally just flair. Thankfully they have made the drop rates for Legendaries, Epics, and Rares much better, and ensured no duplicates until you have all of that tier. Yeah it took too many years to implement, but better late than never. My complaint with this is that while its a card game, its a DIGITAL card game and thus, charging card packs for prices of real physical cards is INSANE and very GREEDY and UNETHICAL. Otherwise there’s nothing wrong with it. As for the hero’s behind the paywall, yeah THAT I also have a problem with. I have only bought two bundles and both because I have a weakness for the Scourge. Frozen Throne bundle, and this Scholomance bundle mainly for Kel’thuzad. If they need to be limited and promotional, fine… but the insane paywall is not okay. I have a college degree in I.T. and I still make poverty level income. So for people like me, we can’t afford to pay those insane costs.

Game development nowadays basically boils down to making problems and inconveniences. They then sell you the solutions.
Better that you don’t spend money here at all. And let the game die its deserved death. Any amount you contribute, perpetuates a terrible business practice.
It is not a scam. It’s pretty clear what you are paying for. The rest are false expectations. You can;t blame the company for them you know.
I bought Arianna pack for 21 euro and didn’t get any legendary cards. Then few days later I looted a golden legendary from a quest that rewarded 3 card packs.
And that quest is free for everyone.
But yes it is hard to earn dust. It hurt a bit that I dusted the card, because I haven’t even played with it. And after I dusted it I watched it on youtube and it can be fun to play with. But sad I move on. I made some nice other cards from the dust.
