Having technical issues with HStone since last patch Update

Hello, good evening.

I am writing this report because I am experiencing technical problems with Hearthstone since the last patch introduced today (05/14/2024), in which when trying to access a game or any game mode, the game simply just keep loading infinitely without allowing me to play or enter to any match up.
I have been experiencing this problem since today and I have noticed several issues, the first one: When I restart the game, it reconnects me to the game but this is the only way to be able to play any matchup (basically what i do is to hit the play button (Rankeds, Standard, Wild, doesn’t matter) then close the game and restart it, that’s the only way i had find to be able to play). The second aspect I noticed is that I have only been experiencing this error since the last update (29.4.0) after installing patch 29.4.0 (in which the miniset was introduced), and yes, I have already tried everything I could try to try to solve it (Analyze and repair the game, uninstall and reinstall it, restart the PC, restart battle.net, uninstall everything and reinstall everything, etc) Nothing has worked for me, I don’t understand why.

Now, I tried to test if the error happened too in my European account (I normally play on my main account in America, where I have all my progress) and I tried to play some games from that Europe account, and the game it’s just going well, when I try to enter any game mode I can enter without any problem, so I can deduce that there may be some kind of bug attached to my American account that has some kind of relation since the installation of the new patch, but I still don’t know what it could be. Honestly, my expectation, which was quite high due to the excitement I got from trying out the new miniset and the others new stuff, was completely diluted by this problem that hasn’t let me play all day. Since neither reinstalling the game, nor analyzing and repairing the game, nor anything I have tried has worked, I’m writing this report here (because in the website didn’t allow me to sent it either) to see if some dev of staff member can help me to find a solution to this issuet. Honestly, if I did not find a solution, I would definitely stop playing the game. I hope anyone can help with the problem. Thank you for your tim

I have same issue. The game keeps loading battle and can not get in. I have to restart client to resume back into the battle, when the battle is over, the client freezes again :frowning: It has started when mini-set released.
And i think problem is high rank in Twist mode on March. There was issue with Twist back in February (no monthly rewards).
The game showed me last 2 months Twist legend rank (i reached rank 150 legend), but now in May i have lower rank in Standard/Wild than my last Twist (March) and since mini-set released it changed Twist Legend icon to “Hearthstone icon”, no rank to show now. So it must have bugged the game somehow because all modes where it shows highest rank, it is going to freeze loading and ending (Arena, Solo Adventures…), but when i try to play Standard or Wild where it shows currently highest rank of this mode, the game works normally, no freezing.
Questions for you Satrian:
Did you play Twist mode in March? And did you get in last Twist high or higher rank than what you have right now?

I’m having a similar problem. I lost an arena run because the “finding a game” wheel would just keep spinning and never stop. After 10 minutes I quit and reentered and it was a loss. I reset my home network and now I can at least play a single game, but after that, the game freezes when I hit the “back” arrow. Everything was working perfectly prior to the 5/14/2024 patch. I reinstalled several times and it is still broken. If they don’t fix this, it may be the excuse I need to stop spending so much $ on this game.

That’s a very interesting theory, everything you mentioned in your reply makes sense to me, I experienced the same visual bug the last months with high rank in Twist mode since March. After the season ended, it kept displaying to me the high rank in Twist mode in my HS icon (in April and in May too, before the last update, after the update it’s just showing the HS icon without displaying any rank i’m actually in). I reached rank 8 legend in Twist mode on March and i did indeed get higher rank than what i have right now. There’s actually a few/low quantity of reports about this issue, but i’ve find there’s ppl experiencing this same thing but no reporting it, so keep up the feedback to see if the dev team find a solution to this issue quickly, and thank you for your reply, it was very helpful.

After you typed that you reached rank 8 legend in Twist in March, i am sure of my theory now :slight_smile: Not many players played Twist in March because new expansion released, so not many reports about this issue.
We have 2 options:

  1. Fingers crossed that Devs will read this topic and fix it :slight_smile:
  2. Wait 2 more weeks before opening Twist mode again and problem will be solved automatically (but probably not in future :stuck_out_tongue:

Don’t know if it’s relevant, but I also hit high legend in Twist in March. Maybe Legend 12.

I hit Legend in the last Twist Season and I have got the same issues just like you. So Mstitel seems to be right about his theory.

Hitting Legend Rank in Twist Mode seems to be crime. :wink:

I hope they fix this bug as soon as possible

Because of it, it is impossible to complete weekly quests normally. Also, my progress in ranked games has stopped, now I can’t play comfortably and reach legend

The problem is fixed for now.
We can see March´s Twist rank back and the game works normally again :slight_smile:
(Apparently what was added in the mini-set patch was deleted)
