I’ve noticed something VERY fishy when I alt f4 at hero select at times in Battlegrounds. I’ll come back 10-15 minutes later and the game has played itself without me, using the hero I alt-f4’d with during hero select. Nobody else is on my account, my battle net never ended its session. I believe part of the reason battlegrounds is using so much memory is because of this autoplay feature.
Autoplay like in simply having started the game or like in having actually made a board in your absence ?
it makes boards in my absence, horrible ones that are always in last place lol

Yup happened to me just now. Started a game and had to get up fast so I alt+f4-ed after choosing a hero, when I came back like 10-15 mins later not only was “I” still alive but had a full board.
If I was to guess Blizzard is trying to fix the issue where too many players simply bail on the game because they only got bad heroes to choose from.
Well yeah when you are gone the game plays for you after you die.
